General information

An Excellent 55sqm, first floor, pool view apartment in the luxurious Sirena Olympia development.  Located in the Universal area of Kato Paphos, the apartment is only an easy 15 minute drive from Paphos airport.  A comfortable 25 minute stroll away you will find the bustling bars and restaurants in the heart of Paphos, with the local beaches and extended seafront only a further 5 minutes away.  A few minutes walk from the apartment you will find the nearest taverna and a convenience store which stocks all the day to day essentials can be found next door.

For those lazy lunches or evenings out, there is a great range of eateries situated around the harbour and surrounding area.  The wide selection will suit all tastes and budgets from authentic cypriot cuisine, locally caught fresh fresh or fast food, whatever takes your fancy.  The varied aray of bars means your night life can be as quiet or hectic as you desire!

For those who like to play golf there are 3 superb courses nearby.  If it's watersports that you get your kick from, the superb Coral Bay beach with its selection of watersports is only a short 15min drive.

Apartment overview

Plenty of homely comforts are provided for a relaxing holiday.  These include a fully fitted kitchen complete with breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven, hob and microwave, iron and ironing board.  Air conditioning to bedroom and living room. An open plan dining area with table and chairs seating 4.  A large lounge with sofa bed and 2 arm chairs complete with TV, DVD player & DVDs.  The bedroom has a double bed, with generous fitted wardrobe space c/w electronic safe and dressing table.  The sofa bed sleep’s 2 additional persons.  An air mattress is also provided.  The spacious balcony is accessible from both the bedroom and lounge and is complete with patio table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers.  For swimming, sunbathing and relaxing there are 2 wonderfully spacious terraces of over 800sqm each.  They both have beautiful swimming pools with poolside showers and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas.  This is a very private, immaculately maintained and quite development.  Our friendly and helpful local representative is on call 24 hours a day, to ensure that your holiday is completely stress free.

Notes on prices

10% discount on 2008 bookings made before the end of January 2008

Prices (quoted in British Pounds) are per week are based on the apartment being available from 1400hours on a Saturday and vacated by 12 noon the following Saturday.  Midweek to midweek stays and stays of less than a week are available on request.

If bookings are spread over more than 1 charging period the total payment will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

Cots and highchairs are available for rental at extra cost.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.

A £100 security deposit must be paid with the balance, this is not cashed and is refundable if there is no damage or losses.

Accomodation notes

As this apartment is also used personally as a holiday home, we would be grateful if you would NOT smoke inside the apartment.  Smoking is permitted on the balcony.

Cots and high chairs are available for rental at additional an cost.

A safe is also provided for your valuable possessions.

Pets are NOT allowed.

Unfortunately due to the apartment being on the first floor and there not being a lift the apartment is not really suitable for wheelchair users.

Our friendly local representative who lives on the development is on call 24hrs a day to help with any problems you may have.

Local information

Coast/Beach
Paphos beaches, seafront and harbour are all within a comfortable 25 minute walk or short 10 minute drive.  The must visit Coral Bay beach is a 30 minute drive or an easy bus ride from Paphos seafront.  A full range of watersports which include, speadboat hire, banana rides etc are all available at either beaches.  The picturesque Paphos harbour which is lined with an affordable variety of fish/meat tavernas is located at the end of the seafront and next to one off Paphos many attractions, the spectacular archilogical site and Mosaics.

Golf
Many tourists now travel to Cyprus for golf.  Conditions are superb all year round and although it gets a little hot in the height of summer, autumn and winter daytime temperature’s rarely falls below about 16 degrees centigrade.  There are now three superb 18 hole golf courses within easy reach of our apartment. Tsada Golf Club which is on the road to Polis and approx 20mins drive, it measures 6,060 meters and plays to a par 72. Secret Valley Golf Club is on the road to Limassol and is also 20 minutes away, it measures 6,120 meters and also plays to a par 72. Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex has a championship course a few miles further up the coast near to the birthplace of Aphrodite. The course is 300m metres high.  It plays to a Par 71 and measures 6,665 metres.

Skiing
Although most people come to Cyprus for the sun, believe it or not Skiing in Cyprus is also possible (yes on SNOW).  You can ski from approx the beginning of January to the end of March in the Troodos mountains.  These mountains are about an hour and a half drive from our apartment.  So you really are able to ski in the mountains and swim in the sea on the same day.

Travel
The apartment is located just 15 minutes from Paphos airport and is easy reahed by car or taxi.  If finding a flight is a problem, why not fly to Larnaca airport which is a pleasant 1 hour 30 minute drive.  A car is not essential, but why not be more adventurous and explore many of the gems the island has to offer.  Many do not realise that the Cypriots drive on the same side of the road as us and drive right hand drive cars.  The roads ar excellent, signs are in Cypriot and English and some traffic lights are as the UK complete with the little Green and Red man.  Either way there's loads to see and do.  Buses also run freequant along the seafront and make many attractions easily accessible.
