Ghost Light
People have reported seeing a glowing ball of light hovering in Potters Field Cemetery in Joliet, IL on numerous occasions. It was described as to be the size of a softball and accompanied by a buzzing or humming noise. During an investigation on May 20, 2004 the glowing ball was spotted. The "ball" moved slowly and came to a complete stop, hovering for a few seconds, that is when the below photo was taken. When the flash went off it seemed to respond to the noise and flew off at a rapid speed, disappearing into the trees. There were no lights in the cemetery and no flashlights were carried on this investigation. There has been numerous sightings of this ball since this photo was taken. An attempt to recreate the photo was attempted on numerous occasions without success. Photo taken by Dan Jungles
