Angelwing Promotion is a network of people that come together to promote compassion and care to others.
There are many people all around us that need a helping hand once in a while.
Here are some scenarios:
A new mom had just come home from the hospital with her little baby.
She is happy, but tired and feeling a little overwhelmed. Her husband is at work all day, and that leaves her alone in the house.
Perhaps she could use help with her laundry or cooking or grocery shopping...or even have dinner cooked for a few nights.
OR
There is an elderly person living on your street and he or she never seems to have any visitors.
Their lawn is over growing and they used to have a nice flower bed. It is hard for them to go out alone, so they sit in their house...and wait...and wait.
They just want a little company and help with chores.
OR
A father (or mother) has just been laid off and their family is suffering while they look for a new job.
EVERYTHING is at risk in this situation. Yes, there is Social Services, but what about the things Social Services doesn't supply?
The list goes on and on....
I want Angelwing to be the liason between need and a helping hand.
We are all in this together, especially in this time of bad economics. Please don't let someone feel alone and forgotten.
Can you volunteer your time to help someone?
