Pokerus is a diesese that helps your Pokemon grow. Pokerus is rare and doubles your Effort Points every battle. My Espeon once caught Pokerus in G/S/C. Espeon was battling somewhere to the right of Ecrutek City when I decided that it was time for it to take a rest. I was a little careless at that time and found that Nurse Joy was taking a longer time to heal my Pokemon. I didn't really read the words she was saying and knew that I missed something important. When I came out of the Pokemon Center, Professor Elm called me and told me about Pokerus. I checked up Espeon and my Espeon had the status of Pokerus.
