Journeying with People to People Student Ambassador Programs was an honor. This program was an excellent program to be a part during 2005-2006. The South Pacific Island Discovery was a 19 day program to Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. During these 19 days we traveled from country to country, and participated in some very unique activities.
This site is about my experience from People to People and I hope it will help other Student Ambassadors in the future.
My P2P Group
The trip was everything that the letter that I got in August of 2005 said it would be and more. In July of 2006 when I came home I was forever changed meaning that I was more open when I talked to people about the trip.
In August 2005 I came home from my second day of 7th grade and saw a letter from People to People Student Ambassador Programs and thought this is unbelievable. Actully my first thought was I'm going to throw this away and I'm so glad that I did not listen to that thought. The letter said I would be visiting three countries, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I signed up for the program, was accepted, went to all the meetings, and finally left with my delegation on the 15th of June, 2006.
This was truely a trip of a lifetime.
