Book Earth, Chapter 1, The Avatar State

Aang and the gang leave the Northern Water Tribe and go to an Earth Kindom city where they meet General Fong. But Aang refuses to go into the Avatar State like General Fong wants him to so General Fong tries to force him into it. Meanwhile, it's 3 years since Zuko was banished and his uncle isn't making him feel any better. Then Zuko's sister, Azula, comes and tells him that his dad wants him back home in the Fire Nation. But it turns out to be a lie to try and catch Zuko and Iroh since they're now fugitives from the Fire Nation.

Book Earth, Chapter 2, The Cave of Two Lovers

The gang meet a group of nomads who tell them about a cave that goes right through a mountain and reaches Omashu, Aang's current destination to get to. But the cave is cursed, and there is no way out unless you trust in love. To try to make it out, Aang and Katara kiss to see if it would work. Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh get help from a girl about Zuko's age named Song.

Book Earth, Chapter 3, Return to Omashu

The group finally make it to Omashu to see King Bumi, but the group is stopped by the Fire Nation, who has taken over Omashu and named it after the Fire Lord. Aang looks all over Omashu trying to find King Bumi, but he's nowhere in site and all of the people who used to live in Omashu are now hiding. Finally when Aang does find him Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee attack when they notice Aang is the Avatar.

Book Earth, Chapter 4, The Swamp

Aang and the gang get stuck in a gust of wind and are thrown into a forest, seperated from Momo and Appa. But as they are there, they get attacked by vines in the forest and end up all seperated from eachother. While seperated, each of the kids see a vision of someone they lost, Katara saw her mother, Sokka saw Yue, but Aang saw a girl he had never knew before. Could it be someone he's going to meet in the future...?

Book Earth, Chapter 5, Avatar Day

The gang go to a festival going on in an Earth Kingdom town called "Avatar Day". But as they're there, they realize that the festival is actually not for the Avatar, but against the Avatar. They hold Aang on trial for a crime he didn't commit, but actually Avatar Kyoshi did.

Book Earth, Chapter 6, The Blind Bandit

Aang and the gang go to an underground earthbending tournament, called the Earth Rebel 6. While there, Aang notices that the old champion, The Blind Bandit, was the girl he saw at the swamp whom he had never met before. Her name is Toph, and she doesn't like to live where she does now because everyone treats her like an infant, so she goes with Aang to teach him earthbending.

Book Earth, Chapter 7, Zuko Alone

In an all Zuko episode, Zuko remembers times from before he was banished from the Fire Nation. He meets up with a kid named Lee, and Lee brings him to his house for dinner. While there, trouble accurs when bullies from Lee's town take Lee away, and it's up to Zuko to save him.

Book Earth, Chapter 8, The Chase

Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph are getting followed by a huge tank but they don't know who it is after them. But after a couple of times they finally went up against them to find out who it was. In the tank, Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee are trying to catch Aang. But Aang splits up with the rest of the gang to through them off trail, and Azula does the same with Mai and Ty Lee. Once Azula catches up to Aang, everyone goes up against Azula, including Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and Iroh. But as they corner her, she escapes and shoots thunder at Iroh, leaving him injured.
