About our Tournaments:
Due to the conservation nature of this club, all club tournaments utilizes the Golden Rule and Punch Card system.
This "Punch Card" system entails a caught fish is immediately measured for length using the Golden Rule measuring board. A punch card is used to record the length of each caught fish. All measurements must be witnessed by your tournament fishing partner. Caught fish are then released immediately back into the waterways from which it came afterwards.
In the instances where there is no fishing partner (fishing alone) for the tournament, then all caught fish (legal per DF&G regulations & greater than the club 13" minimum) are kept in the live-well until another member of the club witness the catch and length measurements are recorded in the presence of that club member or members. Once all measurements are recorded, caught fish are then immediately released.

- The Second annual Club Classic is tentatively scheduled for 16Oct10 on the Delta out of Russo's Marina. Date is tentative until DF&G approves the permit for that date.
The Santa Clara Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley has the distinction of having two of it's long-time members (Don Reighley & George Hawley) serve as Directors of the B.B.A.C.
