Experience is by far one of the most useful tools in your poker arsensal. Patterns and errors, all experienced and memorized and corrected. All types of situations reviewed analyzed and accounted for, to further improve one-self. The more experience one holds in poker, and not only poker but almost everything the better at the particular subect that person becomes. This is why the old are more wise then the young. Repetition is one of the best ways to learn something. So i reccommend playing a lot, it doesnt necessarily have to be forr money though. Play where, with whom, and when you feel most comfortable. As you learn the rukes of texas holdem, you develope tatics, and advanced players learn to play the player, and not always the cards. Experience of the most rewarding degree can be achieved in a few short years through online poker. Although, I beieve the more years you have behind you, the better you can be, and the stronger your game is. Doyle Brunson has not accomplished what he has, and recieve a standing ovation every tourney he is in for nothing you know!
So i can not stress this enough: PLAY PLAY PLAY. Its the basis of poker experience and maybe you can make some extra money on the side.
