17/01/08 - Welcome to BlockOneBmx

The story behind BlockOneBmx - BlockOneBmx was established by a group of tightly knit BMX riders from the Southampton area who wanted to do something postive for thier BMX scene in the South of England. As a group of friends growing up in an area that had next to nothing to ride, it was decided that BlockOneBmx would be built on the ideal that everything has to have a starting point. A few years on, the BlockOneBmx movement shows no signs of slowing down with riders all over Southampton representing us and a flow team spreading as far afield as Newport. The BlockOneBmx motive is obvious. We are about keeping the scene strong and pushing the boundaries in BMX whilst having fun in the process, whether it be digging trails in the woods, building ghetto ramps in your backyard, holding crazy street jams or just having a chilled summer session at your local.

The purpose of this site is to document the actions of the BlockOneBmx team. Updates with pictures and videos from sessions and trips will be posted up as they happen.
