Whatever Happened To Baby Bosley...?
We know... We know... It's been FOREVER since this has been updated. Our apologies. What have we been doing? What are our plans?... Here's a taste - Justin directed TRUCE at the Fringe Festival this year. A WONDERFUL show written and performed by BTP Member Marilee Talkington. Justin is also entering the "Young Directors In Residence" program at EST (Ensemble Studio Theater) for their upcoming season. Michael booked a small role in the ESPN miniseries THE BRONX IS BURNING which will air in July 2007. He continues to audition, and has also been making some moolah driving a cab and having artwork commissioned. Both sexy gents continue writing as well. What's next? We discussed a 10-minute play festival for this Fall and immediately put it on the backburner. Ideally, another full-blown production will be coming in the not so distant future. We haven't found (or penned) the right script yet. We do encourage solicitations from playwrights and will be continuing to read plays until our eyes bleed and fall out. We just want you to know, we're not dead. (yet.) Until next update... arf!

CRAVE comes to a close...

BTP's incarnation of Sarah Kane's CRAVE ran February 23rd - March 4th and had a provocative and successful run.

But don't take just our word for it...

"Crave is only the second production by Bosley Theatrical Productions, but the company already demonstrates enormous promise."

"It's always good for the soul to see great theatre."

- Gwen Orel, Backstage

BACKSTAGE.COM CRAVE REVIEW

"...this could very well be the perfect iteration of the script."

"As always...Kane makes her agony exquisite by wrapping it in poetry, writing with observations so sharp they feel like absolute truth."

-Mark Blankenship, Variety

VARIETY CRAVE REVIEW

"Bosley Theatrical Productions has made a very bold move. In choosing to revive Crave, the late Sarah Kane’s penultimate work, as the company’s second outing, they have drawn a line in the sand about the kind of daring and audacious plays that they intend to present. On courage and moxie alone, for this choice, I give them an A."

About The Company & Mission Statement

Bosley Theatrical Productions was co-founded in 2005 by Michael Chmiel and Justin Quinn Pelegano.

The two have been close friends for eighteen years and creative partners for the past three.

Our Mission Statement -

We seek to bring dark, stirring, audacious work to the stage in a company supporting artists rather than commercialism, where risk is encouraged and where the creative journey is as important as the final presentation.
