Sexpot songbird BRITNEY Spears walked down the aisle with former backup dancer KEVIN Federline at a surprise, five-minute ceremony before 25 guests at a private home in Los Angeles - her second marriage in just nine months. The bride wore a strapless satin wedding gown by Monique L'Huillier, which included a veil and small tiara, to the Saturday-night nuptials. The groom cut a dashing figure in a traditional black tuxedo. But in a wacky nod to her flash-and-trash reputation, BRITNEY, 22, later presented her maids of honor with gifts of hot-pink velour track suits emblazoned with the words "Hot Mama." Shar's Papparazzi Nightmare.

Britney Spears' love rival Shar Jackson has blasted the pop star and her ex Kevin Federline for turning her life into a paparazzi nightmare. The actress fears Spears' decision to allow photographers to snap a family portrait with herself, fiance Federline and his two-year-old daughter with Jackson, Cory, has endangered her child's safety. Jackson was far from happy when she saw the "family portrait" on the front cover of America's People magazine last month - and not just because it featured her daughter with her superstar stepmother-to-be. She says, "I can't leave her (Cory) alone. You know how sometimes you take your kids to the park, you let them run around. I can't do that. I have to sit there and watch her like an eagle now. It's very, very scary. Somebody came in my backyard and was like trying to take pictures through the house. I called the cops." Jackson is determined not to let the same thing happen to her newborn baby son Kaleb. She adds, "She (Britney) hasn't even met Kaleb yet."

Don't expect to see Britney perform her new single anywhere or to appear on TRL the day GH: MP comes out. Her spokeswoman confirmed she wouldn't do any promotion for the new album and single because she's too busy getting everything ready for her wedding. Ok, well in my opinion that's not good at all... I'm starting to worry cuz it really seems like Britney wants to end her up her career. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

A lawsuit was filed against Britney Spears and several other defendants in February 2004 by Lite Breeze, Inc. alleging that Ms. Spears and the defendants have infringed, and continue to infringe, its federally registered trademark "IN THE ZONE" and related common law rights. See Lite Breeze, Inc. v. Spears, et al., No. 04-Cv-0326 (S.D. Ca. Feb. 17, 2004). Ms. Spears and the defendants have denied the allegations. BRITNEY STILL GROUNDED

Britney Spears is still grounded by her knee injury - three months after the singer hurt herself while shooting a music video.

Spears needed surgery after stumbling on the set of promo Outrageous in June - and she is still undergoing strict physiotherapy in a bid to get back on her feet.

Her mom Lynne says in a posting on Britneyspears.com, "Britney has been trying to take it easy on her knee. Blockbuster is about as much excitement as she can handle. Most of her days lately are strictly routine: physical therapy, massages and regular day to day stuff to keep her busy."

Dear Fans,

We are so excited about the launch of Britney's perfume "Curious" by Elizabeth Arden which is now available in department stores!

Britney had such a fun time in New York this week. She was lucky enough to stay at the Mandarin Oriental. It's brand new hotel located in the Time Warner Building. Britney said her room was gorgeous, the view of Central Park & the city's skyline was breathtaking and the hotel had a fabulous spa!

On Tuesday, there was an event held at Macy's so Britney could meet all the executives who worked so hard on helping to create her fragrance and she also met with 150 of her fans. The decor in the room they used for Britney's meet & greet with the fans was precious. It was set up to replicate a dressing room and had a pink couch, fluffy pillows, dim lighting, a plushy throw rug on the floor, costumes from her Onyx Hotel Tour hanging up along the wall and it even had a little section where they set up a hair & make-up area to complete the 'dressing room' vibe. Britney thought the room was adorable and enjoyed meeting with her fans.

After the Macy's event, Britney went to see the Broadway musical "Wicked" that we have been hearing so many rave reviews about. The reviews did NOT disappoint, she thought the play was fabulous! The show is about the untold story of the witches of Oz and basically provides another way to look at "The Wizard of Oz" with a really great moral behind it. Indina Menzel, Jennifer Laura Thompson and Joey McIntyre were the leads and Britney thought they all did an outstanding job. I have to go see this myself, the next time I'm in New York. As they say in New England, the show was "Wicked" good!

Speaking of New England, this morning Britney flew to Boston so she could finally see her Foundation Room at the Onyx Hotel and sign the wall. She called to tell me how much she loved the room and how she spent about 10 minutes looking at all of the collectibles in the Curio cabinet. It made me so happy to hear how much she enjoyed how the room turned out.

Jamie Lynn's show is wrapping at the end of this week and we have been filming on the beach since Monday. She is looking forward to the wrap party this weekend. This is always such a bittersweet feeling. We are both very excited to go home, but are sure to miss everyone we've become close with throughout the summer.

By the time you read this, Britney's "My Prerogative" video will have debuted on TRL- we all hope you love it! I can't wait to see the final version myself!

Britney Spears has re-invented herself again - this time following in the footsteps of Janet Jackson.

I'm the first UK journalist to hear Brit's version of the Bobby Brown tune My Prerogative and it's a belter. Production team Bloodshy & Avant waved their magic on Toxic. But this goes down a completely different road, picking up old school Janet vibes coupled with Asian beats and lacing synths.

Britney's trademark voice purrs forcefully: "They say I'm crazy. I really don't care. That's my prerogative. They say I'm nasty. But I don't give a damn. Getting boys is how I live..."

Then she continues through to the bolshie Backstreet Boys-esque chorus: "Everybody's talking all this stuff about me. Why don't they just let me life? Tell me why. I don't need permission. Make my own decisions. That's my preorgative."

I was invited to Jive Records' London HQ to get a spin of the highly anticipated record before anyone else. Britney's spokesperson told me: "The track is fantastic and it's the perfect tune for Britney to cover. It will be massive. It's got all the right ingredients to become a classic."

INSIDE STORY:  MEETING BRITNEY

Hey you guys, i went to the NY Macys Meet and Greet Today. it was amazing. So Intimate. You first go in this holding room with Blue Water and Pink Lemonade, Curious Colors, and tons of ads and all that and a DJ Blasting britney music, and britney comes out after 1 hour of amazing ****tails. She said like Thanks for coming out, and that they told her to read a telepromter but thats shallow, so she wasnt :P and we were all screaming and **** and yeah she spoke to the group for 2 mins, then a guy took like 10 photos of her and the curious bottle with diff poses. There were camera crews in the front. Then i got called i was # 49, and we go into this really small intimate room, it felt like it was candle lit but it wasnt. And there was this couch like prob for 8, and Britneys sitting there, so i go to sit next to her, and like me and 10 other people took a picture with her, they are mailing it to us. Then i took one of me and her together alone. We spoke and all that, she was AMAZING. I told her what an amazing inspiration she is to me and thank you so much for everything, and congrats on your engagement. Ahh it was OMG. AMAZING. So beautiful seriously. Picture Perfect. Amazing. Anyhow im getting my pic developed soon and then when i get the other one that the photographer took mailed to me im gunna crop me and her since i was sitting right next to her, Thigh to thigh LMAO. Our faces were 1 inch apart. She was so nice. I got a buncha curious samples and on the way out they handed us an 8x10 curious picture she singed in a silver sharpie, prob on the plane ride here. They wernt fake cuz each one looked diff :P. Im gunna get it framed. And im gunna frame my pic with her. When i get the pic in the mail and the other pic developed i will post them . She was amazing, it was the time of my life. It was like a 1 on one. no table in the way like at the virgin signing. She was amazing. I couldnt put into words what it was like. Oh yeah, i saw brian and spoke to him for like a minute , he was cool. he laughs a lot Haha.

Various track lists for the forthcoming greatest-hits album from Britney Spears have been circulating on the Internet, causing fans to worry that the singer wouldn't be including some of their favorite songs, such as "I'm a Slave 4 U." Those worries turned out to be premature, as the official list of what tracks made the cut, made available on Monday, reveal that not only are the promised two new songs included in the collection, but so is a lesser-heard track which recently became a hit online.

Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, which is slated to come out on November 9, will include the singer's cover of the Bobby Brown hit "My Prerogative," as well as a new song called "Do Somethin' " and the dance cut "(I've Just Begun) Having My Fun." The latter song is from the "In the Zone" sessions and was originally found as a bonus track on the European version of Spears' "In the Zone" DVD (see "Track That Britney Left Out Of The Zone Is A Hit Online").

Other songs on the 17-track greatest-hits compilation include "Toxic," "I'm A Slave 4 U," "Everytime," "... Baby One More Time," "Stronger" and "Oops! ... I Did It Again."

Dear Fans,

It's now the un-official end of summer. I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend. As for myself, I had a terrible sinus infection and spent the entire time (except for Jamie Lynn's hair appointment on Saturday) in bed, resting.

Britney had a girlfriend over to visit and they spent the day laying out by the pool. Kevin went golfing with his friends and cooked dinner for everyone.

Britney has been trying to take it easy on her knee. Blockbuster is about as much excitement as she can handle. Most of her days lately are strictly routine: physical therapy, massages and regular day to day stuff to keep her busy.

"My Prerogative" is set to hit radio and MTV next week, be sure to look out for it!

We went to see the movie "Paparazzi" this weekend. I don't know if we enjoyed it so much because the movie was so good, or if it was because we just identified with it so closely. All fan news aside, I really feel the need to clarify some of the media's negative onslaught of press that has been everywhere lately. I've come across numerous photo's where they are trying to depict Britney as, in their words, "trashy". They are using various photo's to try to illustrate their point, for example, the one where she stepped on her floor length skirt and of course, it pulled down too low in the front. I saw her in this outfit that day and she looked absolutely adorable. Girls, I am sure this has happened to you before, but luckily, there weren't hordes of paparazzi around to capture it in photo's. As for her walking barefoot, The Doctor's orders are for her to wear Uggs or tennis shoes and it's just too hot for that. Sometimes it just feels good to go barefoot in this heat and give her feet a rest. But then again, I guess it's easy to find these "flawed" human moments when there's 10-14 cars of paparazzi documenting your every move. My daughter is not one that is going to give into the pressures of dressing up every single day in order to impress the paparazzi vultures that await her outside. I don't really care how the media depicts Britney because I know the truth, but I do care about how you, the fans, see her. Britney always lets all of this roll off her back and not care about what they say- but I, as her mother, feel the need to set the record straight. I don't know why the media has picked Britney to be the current celebrity they most love to hate, but they have...

 Dear Fans,

The 5 year reunion at the Camp turned out to be a great success. I was so privileged to see this year's performance. I couldn't believe how much talent was under one tent. Donna Luther and all the instructors do such an amazing job teaching the children their routines in 7 short days of classes!! They all blew me away with their singing, dancing, acting, writing and playing of musical instruments. It was so wonderful to see how the returning campers had grown and gotten even better with their skills. The confidence levels in these children when they are on stage is amazing. It was great to see the ones that had come from New Orleans as well.

Britney was devastated that she wasn't able to make it to the Camp this year. She found out from her doctor on a follow up visit that her knee had become too swollen for her to fly anywhere. We were able to set up a satellite feed so Britney could see the performance and the campers were able to see her watching them. About 15 minutes into the show, the connection was lost. The Camp promised to send Britney a tape of the entire performance so she could watch it. We were able to get the connection back up during the dance later that night and Britney was able to talk to all the campers for a little bit. They were also the first ones to hear the final mix of Britney's version of "My Prerogative" and they were all thrilled! Thank all you campers again for allowing me to be part of your special performance day and making me feel so welcome. I was honored to be there. And, it wasn't until answering questions from some of them that I realized how many rumors there are about Britney and the wedding right now. If you believe the press, Britney and Kevin have been scheduled to be married every weekend since they got engaged. It all really makes me laugh- but I am sorry that you have to hear such nonsense. We will be putting photo's from the week at Camp up on the website soon, so make sure you look out for those!

Jamie Lynn and I had our 1st vacation week back at home. Jamie Lynn was able to go to her school's pep rally, cheer at a ball game and spend an entire day playing in softball tournaments. Every night she had 3 or 4 friends staying over the house. I think she is officially caught up on her social life at home. It was so wonderful to sleep in our own beds and for me to drink coffee out of our own coffee pot. Oh- the simple pleasures in life!

I read the USA Today article "Stalking Britney: A Papparazzo's Story" last week and I felt it truly captured and highlighted how dangerous, horrifying and intrusive the papparazzi can be on a day to day basis. I don't know, it's just that Jamie Lynn and I are very selfish about sharing the time we do get to spend with Britney and it would be nice if there weren't always 10-15 cars of papparazzi ruthlessly trying to capture every moment as well.

Britney can't wait to see the first edit of her "My Prerogative" video. Even though she didn't get to do any dancing in it, since the setting is so beautiful, she is sure she is going to love it.

We think, (we hope) we have finally found the ideal house for her and Kevin.

In a few weeks, Britney is going to be launching her Curious fragrance line at an event in New York. She's also still trying to figure out a time to stop in Boston and sign the wall in the Britney Spears Foundation Room at the Onyx Hotel. She's so excited to see the room in person. I bet she's going to have a wave of deja vu since it looks so much like her real bedroom in Louisiana!

Wedding plans are sill moving along slowly but surely. I feel so bad mentioning it because I can't tell you anything!!! As I promised before, I'll tell you details afterwards.
