transport to and do battle, Tom writes it off as a fantasy gone too far. But when Tom receives

on the adventure of a lifetime!

"split personality" created by Chaotic technology, he struggles to survive his shocking "ScanQuest"

Chaotic Episode 104: Over Under Rent Asunder
Original Air Date: January 27th @ 11:30am
In this weeks episode we got to see two expert players battle it out, Kaz and Leon. We also got to see our first
advance match with both characters picking "Battle Teams" so it was a 3-on-3 match-up. Kaz was able to use
Taki-nom's special ability to destroy her own teammates to restore her life, which Kaz did twice. He also used
"Song of Revival" to bring one of them back, only to destroy him for health again, so you never see his other two
creatures in action. Leon used Tartarek's special ability to swap places with a teammate in battle, so he was able
to switch characters during the match. When a creature is beaten, they return to the dome floor and they select
another creature and location again. The battle when right up to the wire with the winner, Leon, being decided at
the last moment. Meanwhile Tom, Peyton and Sarah are watching the match while re-telling what they believe is the
history of Perim, told from two very different points of views.
Chaotic Episode 105: Crash Course
Chaotic Episode 05: Get It In Gear (Teletoon Title)
Original Air Date: February 3, 2007 @ 11:30am
This week’s episode opens with Tom and Sarah on a scan quest in the wilds of Perium…running for their lives. Tom was
able to scan the creature Staluk who ends up chasing them both over a cliff and into a lake below. Once out of the
water, Tom sees the scan has been damaged due to his scanner getting wet. Sarah wants to return to Chaotic to watch
Kaz play, but not wanting to leave empty-handed, Tom goes on another quest and stumbles onto Yokkis. Yokkis is a total
prankster and hits Tom with slime, bee hives and various traps to avoid being scanned. In the end Tom saves Yokkis from
a bigger and meaner creature named Tharax by using the same prank that Yokkis pulled on him earlier. Thinking they are
now buds, Tom asks Yokkis for a scan, which he agrees too. Right before Tom is able to scan him he gets slimed….again
missing out on yet another scan.
Meanwhile back at Chaotic, Kaz is getting ready for his next match, but it’s not going to be easy. In his next battle
he is matched up against the “bad guy” of the show, Klay. But Kaz is confident (maybe a little TOO confident) that he
can pull off a win because he has an ace up his sleeve called the VileDriver. A brand new battlegear that no other
player has because Kaz destroyed it after he scanned it in Episode 3: “Unexpected”.
Klay picks a battle team of UnderWorlders that include: Dardemus, Pyrithion and Ulmar. Kaz decides to mix things up
a bit to throw Klay off by selecting a battle team of characters from different tribes which include: Zhade,
Blaizer and Chaor. In Round 1 Klay uses Dardemus in some type of flying battlegear to launch attacks from the
air. It’s not looking too good for Kaz as Zhade is a sitting duck out in the open…and on the ground. But Kaz manages
to turn the tide by trapping Klay with the Song of EmberNova mugic then making him crash with the Tornado Tackle for
the win. The Round 2 win went to Klay when he used a Lavalanche attack to beat Zhade followed by another quick win by
beating Blaizer with the Liqulizer.
In the final match Kaz was using Chaor in the VileDriver to chase the much smaller and weaker Ulmar. But Kaz soon
figures out things are not always what they seem. Klay also has a VileDriver scan in his deck that he had gotten
before Kaz. Even worst was the fact that Ulmar was the one who built it, so he had no problem using it. Once again we
see a match go right down to the wire with Kaz pulling off an upset and beating Klay. Klay then protests the win
and asks for a replay of the two VileDrivers crashing and blowing up at the same time. Kaz then reveals he had
figured out how to make the VileDriver drive itself by breaking the accelerator and jumping off (a trick he
learned by mistake when he crashed it in episode 3). Klay then storms off vowing to Kaz that one day he will get even.
Chaotic Episode 106: The Thing About Bodal
Original Air Date: February 17, 2007 @ 11:30am
This week’s episode starts off with Tom and Kaz on a scan quest in Kiru City. On the advice of Peyton, the boys are
looking to raid Bodel's arsenal that's full of battlegear. But they soon realize they are not the only ones with
this idea. An Underworld spy by the name of Spyder (get it...SPY der) is making off with a new battlegear called
the Aerodrone and wont let anything stand in his way...including Tom and Kaz. Tom steals the Aerodrone from him to lure
him away from Kaz and gets trapped in Spyder's web. But lucky for Tom, Bodel comes and saves him by scaring off Spyder.
Bodel tells Tom he can thank him by using him in his next battle. Tom agrees, but Kaz tells him that nobody uses Bodel
because his stats are so low. Thinking that Bodel will be completely useless in a battle, Tom tries to back out of
their deal. But Bodel bribes him with the Aerodrone scan to change his mind.
So as promised during his next match Tom places Bodel in his back line, with the hopes that he won’t have to use him.
Also included on Toms battle team is Maxxor, Gespedan, Ettala, Dractyl and Xaerv. His opponent, Tank selects a battle
team that includes: Tangath Toborn, Ulfhedinn, Raimusa, Velreth, Staluk and Blaizer.
The first match of Maxxor vs. Tangath is a close one with Maxxor coming back from a near defeat with a healing mugic
for the win. What happens next frustrates Tank to no end as Tom goes on a 6-0 winning streak. Using Maxxor, he quickly
blasts through his entire battle team. But in a last ditch effort, Tank uses the Song of Returning right before his
final creature is destroyed to bring back Tangath Toborn. Now the tide turns in Tanks favor as he takes out Maxxor
and goes on a winning streak of his own, taking out Tom's next 4 creatures in short order.
Tom is sure that this is the end for him when he is finally forced to use Bodel. Bodel's weak attacks don't seem
to have any effect on Tangath and it's not looking to good for Tom. But Tom remembers that Bodel seemed to appear
out of nowhere when they met earlier and he soon finds out how. The walls and streets have hidden symbols carved onto
them, marking an underground network of tunnels that Bodel has memorized. Tom uses this to his advantage by attacking
then disappearing before Tangath has a chance to counter-attack. Tom finally feels like he has a chance of pulling
this off, but gets careless when Tangath is able to slip through one of these trapdoors and follow him. By using
Bodel's knowledge of these underground tunnels, Tom is able to trap him. When Tangath tries to escape, the tunnels
cave in on top of him giving Tom the win.
This turns out to be one of the most unbelievable upsets every. So Tom goes back to tell Bodel of how he won by using
him on his battle team. But Bodel just flat out does not believe Tom could have pulled off such a feat using him.
As a result of Bodel thinking Tom is lying to him, he refuses to let him scan the new battlegear. So once yet again,
Tom is denied a scan in the end.
Chaotic Episode 107: Buggin' Out
Original Air Date: February 24, 2007 @ 11:30am
In this weeks episode we start off following Sarah on a scan quest all by herself. She has made her way into the
insect-like Danians home Mount Pillar and found a room full of battlegear just waiting to be scanned. She is able to
scan the Stingblade, but before she can do anything else she is spotted and captured.
Meanwhile back at Chaotic Tom is doing battle with a new guy named Dwayne and it’s not looking too good for our hero.
Tom is on his last guy, Tangoth Toborn, while Dwayne still has four of his Danian insects left. And to make matters
worse, the location that is picked is Mount Pillar. This definitely gives Dwayne the home court advantage so Tom
will have his hands full. But as it turns out Tom is actually holding his own and is about to score the win until Lhad
activates his “hive” ability. With it he was able to combine with Junda to become much stronger and ends up beating
Tom with no problem at all. Once Tom meets up with the other guys they find out Sarah has been kidnapped by the
Danians and they proceed to rescue her. They jump the guards at the entrance and take their weapons and make their way
inside. Tom takes a detour in the hopes to snag him a new scan, which only ends up getting them all captured. But the
Danian battlemaster Obu-Bathax decides to make them a deal, three of them will be set free while the last has to stay
forever. The reason for this is he wants to set an example to keep other Chaotic players away. Tom gives Sarah an
idea on what they should do and with the help of her man… err I mean her bug on the inside, Wamma, she is able to
escape as well when a false hive alert is set off.
Back at Chaotic Tom, Sarah and Kaz are talking about everything that happened and realize Peyton is missing. They
try to contact him on their scanners only to see that is has returned to Mount Pillar and been captured again. So it’s
off to do it all over again.
Chaotic Episode 108: Everything Is in Flux
Original Air Date: March 10, 2007 @ 11:30am
Last weeks episode starts off with Tom and Kaz scanning a new location called the Iron Pillar. This place has unique
properties that disable any battlegear and prevents them from working. While there, they notice that someone has
“trapped” Xaerv by ways of a mean trick. Since his battlegear was not working, he was told if he moved from that spot,
he would also lose all his powers. We find out later that Kristella had set up some sort of deal with Pyrithion for
the trapped Xaerv. Tom and Kaz free Xaerv before Kristella is able to complete her sinister deal, and she decides to
get even with them for interfering.
Meanwhile back at Chaotic, a new player arrives and begins to be taken advantage of by Klay. He looks at the
newbies deck and tells him he is missing some good cards and if he would just set his scanner to trade mode he would
“take care of the rest”. But Tom stops him and warns the newbie that Klay was only trying to jack his deck and steal
his best cards. To get even, Klay challenges Tom to a match. Tom goes to Kaz for advice on how to set up his deck
for his match with Klay, all the while Kristella is listening to every word they are saying. She then runs back to
Klay and tells him everything they talked about.
The match begins and Tom picks Mezzmarr, Thonder, Crawsectus, Owis, Maxxor and Vidav for his battle team. Klay picks
Pyrithion, Miklon, Barrath Beyond, Ghuul, Kugar and Magmon. The match starts off pretty easy for Tom and he defeats
Klay’s first 5 creatures with ease. On the next match Klay is using his last creature, Magmon and selects the Lava
Pond and has no trouble at all defeating Maxxor. But Tom is not worried since he still has 5 creatures on his battle
team left. But Klay has a tricky new battlegear called the Flux Bauble that allows him to teleport to the next card
in his location deck and since his deck is loaded with Lava Pond cards every match takes place there. And because
Magmon gets such good bonuses while fighting there he manages to beat Tom’s next 4 creatures with no problem. Then
Tom remembers his scan of the Iron Pillar from earlier and by using the Song of Future Sight mugic he is able to
pick his next two locations from his deck. When the match begins Klay’s Flux Bauble is disabled and Tom is able to
beat him and win the match. Afterwards Klay and Kristella team-up with the intentions of getting even with Tom
and Kaz once and for all.
Chaotic Special: Codes Equal Power
Original Air Date: March 17, 2007 @ 10:30am
The Chaotic special was hosted by the TMNT, who know all about Chaotic. It's Splinter who has no clue what they
are talking about and it's up to them to fill him (and of course the viewers at home) in on what it's all about.
I think one of the best parts was the Turtle commentary on the fight between Taki-nom and Tartarek (who btw is
also a turtle). That was really funny, just wish they had done more of that.
During this special episode they cover the scan quest cards, the cartoon, all four tribes, battlegear, locations,
mugic and the codes. When the Turtles tell Splinter about the free online cards you can collect, Donatello
shows off his own virtual deck of cards from the first scan quest. During this they also show off cards and codes
for the current quest which include Ettala, Hoton, Mishmoshmish, Mezzmarr, two Prantix cards and two upcoming
cards I don’t have the names for yet. You can collect your own set of cards by visiting chaoticcode.com each week.
From the scan quest cards they go right into talking about the tv show, starting with events in episode
one. The Maxxor vs Taki-nom fight plus a “Battle Reel” from different episodes is also shown. During this part
cards and codes are shown for Dractyl, Xaerv, Maxxor and the Rockwave attack.
From there they go on about the creatures in Perim and each of the four different tribes that live there.
The OverWorlders are the good guys whose leader is Maxxor. During this section codes are shown for these creatures
and location cards: Najarin, Intress, Tangath Toborn, Dractyl, Maxxor, Castle Bodhran, Lake Ken A Po, Glacier
Plains and Ravavaugh Ridge. The UnderWorlders are, more or less, the bad guys with Chaor being the top dog.
For this part codes are shown for these creatures and location cards: Taki-nom, Van Bloot, Ulmar, Chaor,
Iron Pillar, Fear Valley and the Lava Pond. The Mipedians are the lizard-like tribe with the ability to become
invisible. This portion is short and sweet and only showed codes for Siado, Zhade and the Mipedian Oasis
cards. The final tribe is the Danians, they are the insect-like Creatures who live in a vast area of the
UnderWorld called Pillar Mountain. Codes were shown for Mallesh, Lore, Wamma and Mount Pillar.
When the Turtles talk about Battlegear, clips from the show are shown that show off the Cyclance, Wind Strider,
Liquilizer, Ring of Na’arin, Pyroblaster and the Vile Driver. BattleGear is the magical equipment creatures
use in battle. Generally, BattleGear is used to protect (shields), attack (weapons) or transport (vehicles).
For Mugic they show highlights from the show featuring the Song of Embernova, Discord of Disarming and
Fortissimo. When casting Mugic, a seven note “song” (Mugic) is heard. A giant magical effect occurs and the
Mugic creates the desired effect.
Thought out the special additional cards and codes are shown for Nauthilax, Arias, Stingblade, the Viledriver
and five additional locations, they ended up showing 44 different codes during the whole episode.
Chaotic Episode 109: Castle Bodhran or Bust: Part 1
Original Air Date: March 24, 2007 @ 10:30am
In last weeks episode Kaz is on one of his famous Dractyl scale runs for H’earring. Tagging along with him are
Sarah, Tom and Peyton who hope to get some new scans on the trip. For those wondering, Kaz trades the scales to
H’earring for info on new Underworld scans (as seen in Episode 3: Unexpected). When Kaz reaches Dractyl’s nest he
finds a Chaotic scanner with the name “ReggieOne” written on the back of it. You may remember first hearing about
this from one the virtual scan quest bonuses. But before Kaz is able to make it out of the nest, Dractyl returns
and he drops Reggies’ scanner back in the nest. Because his courage is so low, they were able to scare him and make
good their escape back to Chaotic.
After several episodes in Chaotic, we finally see the boys back on Earth again. While at Kaz’s house they
remember the Chaotic players screenname ReggieOne and send him an e-mail about his missing scanner. The next day the
owner shows up at his doorstep all the way from London and introduces himself as Reginald Tevington aka “ReggieOne”.
Something has happened to Reggie that has left him cripple and in a wheelchair and he has not made contact with his
Chaotic self for a very long time. So he offers Tom and Kaz any 10 rare cards from his collection if they would find
his Chaotic self and send him back home. Now that he is in the wheelchair, he would give anything to find out the
adventures his other self has had. Reggie tells Tom and Kaz they should check for him at Castle Bodhan. The only
problem is that this is a rare location scan he won in a challenge match from a player named Brusier33 who claimed
he had another one.
The boys return to Chaotic and find Bruiser who challenges Tom to a match for his ultra-rare Maxxor card. Tom
selects Maxxor and Bruiser selects Frafdo to fight at the Castle Bodhan location, where Frafdo has the
advantage. Tom puts up a good fight and throws out all the stops and uses his best attacks: Flame Orb, Pebble
Storm, Torrent of Flame, Iron Balls and Fortissim. But Frafdo’s Plasmarows prove to be too much for Tom to
handle as they come from all directions and angles. Tom thinks he finally
has him cornered with a massive
Rockwave attack, but Bruiser turns the tide by using the Song of Reversal which switches places with Tom,
placing Maxxor right in front of his own attack. This last minute counter costs Tom the match and his
prized Maxxor card.
Back at Chaotic Tom trades his Maxxor to Bruiser’s scanner, but to his surprise Tom is more worried
about how they are going to help Reggie than losing his card. So He decides to help them out and gives Tom the
Castle Bodhan card and a bit of advice: “You got to search for creatures and gear and mugic, but locations
are always right where you left them”. So before his challenge matches, Bruiser goes back to the location
and gets another scan, so he is never in danger of losing it because he
always has an extra.
