In the beginning there was...

a girl in deepest darkest Southern England who had lots of things she wanted to say and express, but unfortunately she was finding it difficult to get these things across to the people who she thought would be most interested.

She wanted to talk about music and politics and riotgrrl and fashion and anarchy and irony and economy and nihilsm and conformity and society and religion and violence and integrity and art and the meaning of life and all sorts of other things.

So she got out her pens and her computer and her cheap 49p notebooks and she wrote down some of these things.

Then she put them together in a little zine.

She called it Circle Theorem. Not for any deep underlying reasoning but generally because it sounds nice and she'd been studying it in maths at that time and those two words had been swimming around in her subconscious for some while.

Then... she thought about this harder. She wanted to reach out to people. This wasn't for the profit or the fashion statement. This was because she wanted to. And she wanted other like minded people to, erm, too.

So she decided to make a website (congratulations, you find yourself here) and she decided that before she put out this zine, she would make it a grand thing.

She decided she would call upon anyone who was interested at all, any age, gender, sexual persuasion, race, country, who had something to say and a passion to push that.

This is where this comes in...

Please, please, please. If you have something you want to say, write, compose, draw, paint... ANYTHING with any integrity and emotion... it will be received with open arms. This sounds like a campaign to get people to sign up to some bizarre religion. But it's not.

It's just a zine, desperate for contributions and a perfected first issue, getting tactical.

Email this girl at circletheorem@hotmail.com and she will get straight back to you, and give you an address of somewhere you can send these things, or if you prefer, just email them to her, and she promises she will do her best to get it out there for people to see.

people have walked these shores before you...
