Background Story:
It has been many man years since King Kovu and Queen Kiara have passed away. They now are only great legends watching down on the pridelands from the stars. The great King Makai, and the lovely Queen Kya have taken over, along with the rest of the Midnight Pride. With the two ruling, the pride and their friends will have to overcome many tight circumstances yet to come...

Aniya Description Aniya is a white wolf that met Ketani's great great great great great grandfather in a snowy mountain crossing. She was killed in a battle only five years later, defending the Midnight Pride. Now she's become their spirit guide, giving council to Makai, and comforting Ketani. She has a gentle nature, and great wisdom. (Ketani) Asauka Description Asauka is a lioness in the Midnight Pride. She's close friends with Tekami, and also has a fondness of the cubs. (Kovu) Ketani Description Ketani is the current princess of the pridelands. She has an unusual colored grey coat and a mysterious red marking on her cheek. She always wears her feather neclace which she recieved at her presentation on pride rock. Ketani is one of the few who keep in touch with the mysterious spirit guide to the Midnight Pride, Aniya. Overall, Ketani is overly independant and daring, always pushing the limits. But her sincerity and kindness usually make up for the trouble she tends to cause. (Ketani) (Click for website) Kitu & Vasu Description Kitu & Vasu are nicknamed Ki & Va. Kiva means Unity in Swahili. The two lionesses are playful cubs who never see any true danger, as long as they are beside each other, as twins.(Diamond Muto) Kya Description Kya is the current queen of the Pridelands, and mate to Makai(King). She is mother to Ketani, and has a LOT of patience. Kya has a creme colored coat and chocolate dipped ears. She looks from jade eyes, and is very down to earth. She usually keeps a watch on the other lionesses. Kya has a really sweet personality, and is a favored queen, but can be firm if needed. (Ketani) Makai Description Makai is current King of the Pridelands. His father(King of the Pridelands at the time) ran away from him and the pride at a young age. He then vowed to never leave the pride and always protect it with his life. He is mates to Kya(Queen), and father to Ketani. (Ketani) Nyguyen Description Nyguyen is a light brown evil lion with a brown mane. Not part of Scar's lost pride, he likes to keep to himself, silently planning Makia's downfall as he roams the Pridelands...(Sombolia) Paka Description Paka is an evil dark brown lion with a small, scruffy black mane. He was led to Scar's lost pride after *something* chased him there as a cub and he realized he was related to Scar too. (Sombolia) Sombolia Description Sombolia is a jet black female lion cub with deep green eyes. She is very indepentant but has become good friends with Tuka, Ketani, and Ziruta. During one unfortunate trip to the Outlands, she nearly drowned but Tuka saved her life and got hurt badly, so she feels really guilty about it.(Sombolia) Takia Description Takia is a young lion cub. She's pure white, with exeptions on her feet, and muzzle. She's also got a gray pawprint on either cheek. // Takia likes adventure, but lacks leader-like ability, and therefore usually depends on her friends to have fun. She's very polite, but can snap back at twice her size when motivated.(Kovu) Tekami Description Tekami is a scrawny, paranoid wolf, who first intruded into Makai's pridelands, but was later accepted among the lion/esses. (Kovu) Tibu Description Tibu is alot like Rafiki. He's the mandrill shawman for the Midnight Pride. He can be a little ecentric.(Nuetural character! Not just one individual person thought up Tibu, so anyone can control him! :D) (Submit any art of Tibu to KS, Kovu, or Ketani) Tuka Description Tuka is a snobby little tiger cub. Yet, he's not so self-absorbed that he's lost touch with reality, because he can be very down-to-earth sometimes. (Kawaii Kiara) Watenga Description Watenga is a loner cub who can never get along with anyone. His name means Loner in Swahili. He often lives up to that name. (Pharaoh Simba) (Click for website) Zani Description Zani helps Makai look after Ketani. She is a hornbill who cares deeply for all the cubs. (Kawaii Simba) Ziruta Description Ziruta is a happy-go-lucky cub who doesn't mind adventure. However, there are times when Ziruta will turn strangely evil, and go a bit out of hand. Luckily, it only happens if someone really agitates him- So most of the time he's pretty laid back and carefree! (Kawaii Simba) (Click for website) Characters: Aniya, Asauka, Ikura, Kali, Kenya, Kasi, Ketani, Kitu & Vasu, Kya, Makai, Mauja, Nyguyen, Paka, Sombolia, Takia, Tekami, Tibu, Tuka, Watenga, Yami Feathers, Zani, Ziruta The Guild's 2nd Rp Summary-ish Tale: Ketani had been off wandering as usual when she stumbled across the infamous wolf Tekami, and her lioness companion Asuaka. While they chatted, they met a handful of lion cubs. Ziruta, Iruka, Sombolia, and the self obsessed Tiger cub Tuka. Ketani, being her usual self, decided that they should go into the outlands to have some fun. The others agree, and before they know it they've whisked themselves off to the Outlands. They get into a ferocious fight with some crocodiles, and are having tons of fun untill Sombolia falls under, the crocs gonig crazy. Tuka barely saves Sombolia, managing to severly hurt his feet in the process. He is taken to the Monkey Shamaan, and rests. Makai and Kya take care of the rest of the ordeal, watching over the cubs as they played. Blaming herself, Ketani disapeared to the sacred pool she often visits to talk to the pride's Spirit guide Aniya the White Wolf. While talking she learns a few lessons, but Asuaka interrupts. They begin to talk when another interruption occurs. Tuka's mother has come looking for him. After they convince her that he's ok, Asuaka agrees to take Ketani to see Tuka. After some prodding, Ketani wakes Tuka up. They talk a bit, then he shows her something. A chalk drawing of her on the tree. One like when simba roamed the earth. Both puzzled, Ketani takes Tuka over to it, and they examine it. But finally resove to call Tibu. Tibu simply explains that it is Ketani, and that one day, there will be another lion painted next to her. Ketani settles for that(she kind of has to), and boht her and Tuka drift off to sleep side by side. Meanwhile.... In the Outlands, a pride scavanges for food, constantly starving. Constantly moving. They are the reminants of Scar, Scar's lost pride. Kali and Mauja lead the pride, and have plotted against Makai and Kya for a long time. Now, is their time to act. They leave the prie to carry out their plan. They wish to capture Ketani by setting an "accidental" fire. So they leave to the elephant graveyard for the source of their fire. Once that is accomplished they successfully get a wildfire going. They capture Ziruta, Tuka, and Ketani, and take them into a cave to wait until the smoke clears. In the cave, the cubs find Tuka has healed, and they've banned together to keep themselves alive. The smoke keeps them hidden, or so they think. Kya has found them, and is waiting patiently nearby for their next move. Finally, after much negotiations and fighting, Kya was able to excavate the cubs and bring them home. A few days later, the cubs were out playing when they met Pea Lion, and his brother Ralion. Ralion and Ketani play, and Ralion developes a little crush on her. A short time later, while everyone was out, Sombolia introduces her older brother. A charming young adolescent by the name of Eusi. Ketani goes star-struck, developing yet another crush. Tuka and Sombolia have something going on as well, but it stays quiet. Only time would tell what would happen for the first generation of the Pridelands. And the grains of time, carried by the wind, were caressed into the air, years passing before their very eyes. The Guild's 1st Rp Summary-ish Tale: In the pridelands a new pride rules. The Midnight Pride. Makai, the ruler is a regal king and an overprotective Father. He and his hornbill advisor Zani, help watch Ketani. one day while ketani's playing in the bushes, she stumbles upon a unframiliar cub, Kona, who has left his pride or survival. Now he must prove himself to Makai, and hope for the best. The next morning Asuaka awakes to find a strange tan shape behind a tree. While Ketani sneaks up from behind and scares her and makes quite a racket, the thing doesn't move. Kona comes down to check it out too. Asuaka finds its a carcass that wasn't wasted by a lion. Now, they have descovered it to be a intruder, a wolf, named Tekami. Makai has deemed this intruder ok, and has left her to be, though meanwhile, Ketani has led Kona off to a mysterious pool, what mysteries await them there? And will Kona have to come to face his hard past? Ketani has led Kona to a mystic pool, where they have unveiled Aniya, the spirit wolf. She gives them a warning concerning Kona's old pride. Though it is too late...Kona's pride has returned. The two cubs scatter, each to their own pride. The midnight pride will have to defend their lands, and the two cubs destiney's are at sake...
