Location & Goal

CCRK is located in Washington between Ellensburg and CleElum, up near Liberty. On a farm of about 96 acers that sits in a bowl of trees and surrounding hills/mountains. Here we raise Boer & LaMancha goats, Poultry of different breeds and we also have dogs, cats, & horses.

Our goal is to produce Boer goats that are wide, with correct comfirmation, lots of pigment, muscled with deep twists, good bags with two clean teats, great bites and a level topline. Also produce does that can have kids, keep her good looks and not break down while ranging up and down the mountains.

History

Four years ago the kids got involved with 4-H market wethers, then a year from then after a lot of learning and researching we got our first does, all percentage boers. Since then we have expanded our couple does to a small herd of about 50 head as of this year of 2008.

Our 50 head as of this year, is made of Percentages, American Purebloods, and Fullbloods. It is also a colorfull herd of Reds, Blacks and Black Traditional, Paints (of many shades), along with traditionals. We have also become involved with LaManchas this past year!
