My dogs are, first of all, my companions and partners.  They live in my home in West Virginia, and we actively participate in conformation, obedience and agility shows.  I believe that my dogs are great ambassadors of the Border Collie breed, and I am very proud of all the accomplishments we have made in the dog world.

I owned, trained, and loved the only Border Collie in West Virginia that attained the AKC OTCH (Obedience Trial Champion), MACH (Master Agility Champion), U-OCH (UKC Obedience Champion), and many other performance titles.  His name was Russell, and you can read about him on his page.

I breed on a limited basis, and only if I need a partner myself, or when I have interested puppy buyers looking for that special performance partner.  Each of my dogs have outstanding temperaments, are OFA scored (hips and elbows), CERF certified, and are clear of CEA/CH/CL.  All my puppies are raised inside my home.  I employ the "Super Dog Program" with all the puppies, starting at day 3 until day 16, improvising as they get older.  Socializing the puppies as they grow is a never ending responsibility, and the puppies are taken to many places, including store fronts, where they are able to be exposed to many sights and sounds.  They are given every advantage that will help them to live a well-adjusted life, whether it be as a competition partner, or a companion.

I invite you to sit back, click on each of my dog's pages, and take a look into a large part of my life.  Before you leave, won't you please sign my guestbook?

BEWARE OF PEOPLE OFFERING "RARE" COLORED BORDER COLLIES!

There are almost as many different colors of border collies as there are different patterns.  Don't be fooled by a breeder offering a "rare" colored border collie, or of someone offering a "rare" blue-eyed border collie.  I have a border collie with one blue eye.  He is neither "rare" nor blind in that eye.  Follow this link to see the different coat and eye colors of the border collie:

A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS
1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years.  Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me.  It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment.  You have your work,
your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me.  Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me.
Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old.  You, too, will grow old.
10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please.  Never say you can't bear to watch.
Don't make me face this alone.  Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

Take a moment today to thank God for your pets.  Enjoy and take good care of them.  Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters.
