*DARKESTRAH have been confirmed to play at the Blacklights Festival in Divizov u Benesova, Czech Republic, on July 7.

*August 31, 2008 the release of Darkestrah's 4th studio album, The Great Silk Road is now available!
For a very limited period, a special US deluxe edition will be available for worldwide order directly from Paragon Records shop. The CD comes with a Darkestrah logo metal embroided patch, and the entire packaging is wrapped in black silk and stamped in Wax.

* DARKESTRAH’s new album "THE GREAT SILK ROAD" coming in mid-late August. This will be accompanied with a lavish digi-pack, and will be accompanied with a detailed 12 page booklet!

* DARKESTRAH’s The Great Silk Road will unfortunately be delayed for a short time. However, we still expecting the album to be released during the course of the summer. Expect soundclips of the new album to be posted on the Paragon Records site shortly.

"The Great Silk Road" is the title of the forthcoming album,
scheduled to be released on May, 2008 through Paragon Records.
Recorded and mixed in Kick The Flame Studio, the album features five tracks:

3. Cult Tengri
4. Kara-Oy
5. The Last Step
