Yes, comissions are open; but I do not do free requests for just anyone.
To contact me, click here, or email me at shapeshiftdemon@aol.com.
Don't worry...as long as you don't use n00bspeak and are intelligent, I don't bite; although I am mostly good at drawing canines.
I cannot draw anthropomorphic characters that do not belong to me. Sorry.

Art FAQ

Will you do a request for me?
No, sorry, but I don't draw for free. I'm flattered that you like my art enough to ask for it, but I wont be taken advantage of.
Plus, I have carpal tunnel and tendonitus in my right hand/arm that I draw with -- not to mention nerve damage in the other one XD -- and drawing for me is pretty painful. I'm just so hopelessly addicted to it that I'll continue drawing even if it hurts. Still, I'll draw for /me/ if it hurts or not, or someone I choose who doesn't ask for my art. Anyone else will need to give me something in return.
It's just, if I drew for everyone who asked me to, I wouldn't HAVE a life outside of my little sketchbook. I'd be drawing twenty-four seven. XD
Therefore, my apologies, but I don't want my work to be taken for granted and then ignored once you get tired of it (not saying all would, but many have) so at least I wont be wasting my time if I get something out of it for me.

Can we do an art trade?
Hey, as long as I get something in return that I count of an equal or nearly equal value, I don't consider it 'free art'. ^^ Basically, as long as I consider your quality of art 'good enough' or to my liking, then sure, I'd love to.
Please don't complain if I reject your art, seeing as I'm pretty picky, and again, no offense to you or your drawing skills, but if I don't honestly want something, I don't want to trade something of mine for it. ^^ Alright?

Can you do a comission for me?
Possibly, depending on if I'm physically capable of drawing what you want done, and if you're willing to pay the price I want in the currency that I ask.

Will I need a reference picture?
If any markings are involved, yes. For example, "upside-down triangle underneath eyes" tells me nothing. I need to know exactly what triangular shape, how big it is, exactly what position it's in and so on.
Basically, I don't care how good the ref is, I just need to be able to see the markings from it.
Also, please don't just say 'green' or something if you want a colored picture. 'Green' tells me nothing as well, so I want a better description, because I can think of a LOT of different greens. Lime green, yellow-green, blue-green, forest green, and plenty more. I can do that with most any color, so unless you can actually give me a decent description, you're getting nothing, or primary-green found in the typical MS Paint Art Program. Got it?

How much do you charge?
Without an art trade, and for a comission, it depends. I never pick a definite price until the piece is finished, since I charge on what we both think the quality of the finished product is worth. Otherwise, you can only get an estimate of how much I would charge depending on the type of picture; IE. Sketch, Adobe Colored, Etc.

What can you draw?
I'm best at canines over forty pounds with long legs, medium/long fur, medium/long muzzles, pointed ears, bushy straight/curly tails, and basically mostly wolflike features such as huskies and malamutes, but of course, I can also do things such as doberman pinschers, border collies..it all depends.
Ask, and I'll see if I can do it.
Don't complain if I can't.
I'm also fairly good at (large) furry or scaled dragons, and sometimes large felines.

What don't you draw?
I refuse to draw domestic cats, any form of clothing other than collars, necklaces, bracelettes and the likes, and anything with a human anatomy.
I can only draw my own human-like characters, no one else's.
There's also a lot of other things I can't draw, like short-legged, flat-faced canines like a Pekingese or Pug.
Sorry, I'm not good at them.
I'll often try if I've never tried before, but if I can't, don't pester me about it.
I wont waste hunks of paper trying to draw something, my art supplies aren't free.

Can I get my picture in the mail?
Yes, I can send the finished product to an address of your choice for an extra fee in your purchase price, but please be prepared to get it folded up in an envelope, since I'm not going to go and buy a bunch of special "do not bend" envelopes and make trips to the post office on a regular basis.
I'll stick it in the mail, but if you want it in any special condition, you're going to have to make do with being sent a URL to the scanned picture.

My Artwork

Role Playing Characters
All of my original characters I use in role plays, stories and whatnot.
New

As close as Demon can come to being human, showing off her sunglasses and looking mildly bewildered.
New

Demon in her full-felcanine form, including snow leopard tail and retractable foreclaws.
She rarely seems to have a good day judging by her usual expressions, huh? XD

Sketch | Colored

Demon in her felcanine form, hackles standing on end and teeth bared. She certainly isn't pleased about something...

New

Demon's new design in her Felcanine form -- added far more blue streaks and some other blue markings.
New

Demon in her canine form, feeling rather uncharacteristically blue and miserable and just wanting to be left alone to sulk.

My character, Demon at sixteen in her more humanlike form, her brother, Chance (Bandit's humanlike form) at fifteen and her/my wolf/black labrador/siberian husky, Shadey.

New

Demon in her Felcagon (Feline, Canine and Dragon Hybrid) form. This one is newer than the one below, and I made some changes to the horns, paws, tail and mouth. I like this one /much/ better.
Stands fourteen feet tall at the shoulders when on all four legs and is at least double that when on her hind legs.
New

Felcagon-Demon again, soaring with wings outstretched, belly facing the viewer and having fun while defying the laws of gravity.
New

Demon once more, very newest Felcagon sketch. She's supposed to be sort of getting to her feet after being in a laying position, lifting herself up on her forelegs but the hind ones still relaxed over her tail -- not too happy with whoever disturbed her, either. XD

Demon in her Felcagon form, the original design before I changed some things on it.

Sketch of Demon in her felcanine form, looking all intimidating.

Demon in her canine form again, wearing a sarcastic expression.

Canine-Demon again, expressing full pride in lead-dognism.

Sketch | Colored

Chance in his canine form, which is called Bandit.

Bandit again, all dressed up in sledding gear.

Tempest in his more humanlike form and his canine form.

Tempest in his canine form; a ninety-pound coydog (Coyote/Doberman Pinscher).

My character, Demon at fourteen years old in her humanlike form and some of my real animals...Drawn around early 2005.

Human-Tempest again, this time a much newer sketch.

Canine Tempest form once more, again a far more recent sketch.

Chaos, Demon's brother, in his human form. ..Well, sort of. Human if you ignore the wings and ears, anywho.

Chaos in his winged-canine form. Not sure where the crimson fur came from on a rottweiler / husky / arctic wolf, but I don't know where the wings came from either, so just go with it, 'kay?

Galaxy, the black and lavender Canadian Inuit Dog, also called a Qimmiq; complete with rainbowy feathered wings. ^^

Sketch | Colored

Sundae in her canine form, a black, white and neon-pink yet purebred husky.

Sundae's little brother Blizzard in his canine form, once again a purebred husky, just blue and white this time.

Beau, short for Rainbeau, Sundae and Blizzard's little brother, obviously another purebred husky. Gotta love the rainbow paws, tail, tongue and 'thorned heart' hip tattoo.

Stormy, in his humanish form.

A newer version of Stormy, this time complete with huge, feathery white wings.

Stormy, in his hundred-pound canine form, a Kuvasz / Arctic Wolf hybrid.

Silver in her more humanlike form.

Silver in her canine form, an Alaskan Malamute/Arctic Wolf mix.

Bianca, the human form of Jigsaw.

Jigsaw, an African Wild Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.

Glitch, a Dalmatian/Siberian Husky mix.

Ruby, in her more humanlike form. She's apparently irritated, probably listening to Chance ramble on about a new comic book he purchased or something.

Ruby, in her 110-pound Husky/Rottweiler form.

A random facial view, studying snarling. Might make him into a character later, but he has no name.

My mutant wolf creature. He's got no name, just stag antlers, quils on his tail, velociraptor claws instead of dewclaws and an extra pair of lungs that he uses to store a foul liquid acid-like substance he can vomit up in a stream or spray as a defense mechanism. ^^ Lovely, no?

Animals
Real-life animals, either owned by me or someone else, or simply an animal I've sketched and added here.

All of the real-life canine members of my family.

Akita, my real-life Australian Cattledog/Dingo/Japanese Akita mix, the Alpha Female (leader) of our pack.

Shadey, my real-life Black Labrador/Siberian Husky/Arctic Wolf mix, the Beta Female (second in command) of our pack.

Mika (right) and her sister, Boxcar (left) who is about nine minutes younger than her. Both are my real-life purebred beagles, the little pedigree princesses and the Omegas (lowest in hierarchy, but just as important) of our pack.

Kenopets
My virtual pet characters. Species copyright Kenopets.co.uk, Art copyright Dember.

Sketch | Colored

My Kenopet, Kujo (now called Vortex), a Demonic Canis, or more specifically, a Green Doberman.

Opal, Kujo's adopted-in sister, my other kenopet, a border collie with the fur colors of a white opal stone.
Placed Third in the KFAC on Monday, November 13th, 2006

My Kenopet, Indigo, an "Orcanis" -- Part Orca, part Canis; or Golden Retriever in this case.

Sketch | Colored

Twilight, also known as Twila, my demonic fiame from kenopets.

Sketch | Colored

Scarlet, a wingless manticore (lion/scorpion hybrid) with a mane made of fire. Yes, she's female and has a mane, it's not a mistake.

Maya, a spiritual emitai from Kenopets.

Sketch | Colored

Cobalt, a sapphire emitai, Maya's older brother.
Placed Second in the KFAC on Sunday, December 3rd, 2006

My Spiritual Julaxis, Virus. He's quite a little prankster, although nobody seems to like him much.

Sketch | Lineart | Colored

My demonic vulpes, Kleo, now called Chasm. Drawn in mid-2005.
Placed Second Before the 10th in the KFAC, Exact Date Unknown.

A facial view of Chasm, my demonic Xyion.
Placed Second in the KFAC on Saturday, November 18th 2006

Full-body view of Chasm. Looks sort of like some kind of marsupial or four-legged kangaroo from this angle. oO;

Maya's new look, complete with two pairs of hind legs and three sets of wings. Second try with a long-bodied dragon.

Newest colored sketch of Kujo, who has been renamed Vortex.

Neopets
My virtual pet characters. Species copyright Neopets.com, Art copyright Dember.
New

Seph, my Maraquan Draik, and Ravyn, his Skree petpet. I know he's aquatic, but he's also perfectly able to move around on land and in air, depsite the lack of wings. He levitates just fine. X3
New

Rai, Seph's older yet far tinier brother who has a fascination with headbutting things with his ram horns to see if he can crack or break the mor not.

Chewrea, also known as Rea, my brown eyrie.

Tacoril, or just Tac, my shadow lupe.

Neffy, also called Nef, my furry-anthro camoflauge aisha.

Arcu, short for Arcusardor which means 'Rainbow Flame' for obvious reasons.

Cruciamentum, also known as Crucia, an eight hundred pound smilodon (sabre toothed tiger) crossed with a lupe.

BabyxAshley, nicknamed Ash, my (now frozen) pink Krawk from Neopets. Drawn in mid-2005.

Yet another frozen krawk; this one just a quick head-shot of Antithese. Drawn in mid-2005.

A sketch of Antithese's pet, Viper. Drawn in mid-2005.

Teiza, a rather strangely-colored 'starry' lupe.

An adobe-colored sketch of my friend's character, Taylo. Grey lupe, custom design.

Comission of a Grey Uni with a custom design I did to get Teiza. o_O ...Even though she's iced now, thanks to my former best friend's cousin.

Dera, my frozen Grey Kougra who had a custom design.

A shade-less sketch of Fusion, one of Dippy's draiks. Lovely person. He was recently frozen because she got caught trying to scam someone or something.

Rinalafilles the custom Faerie Gelert, in her furry-anthro form with Mirage, her little Seti petpet.

Fier's ghost aisha, Khaberii/Khaberri, my frozen darigan krawk Stuki's (just_keep_swimming2) girlfriend. Er, ex-girlfriend. Ah, well, she's one of those. XD Anywho, ignore the fact that Sebastian, the little tabby cat-that-Stuki-dyed-pink-for-eating-her-pet-mouse is defying gravity or..something.

Sketch | Colored

My custom faerie kougra, Sisnaly -- or just 'Isna' as I called him. Drawn in mid-2005.

Pokemon My Pokemon characters off of my Nintendo or Gameboy games. Species copyright Game Freak, Art copyright Dember.

[Unfinished]
Coal, my rapidash on my Pokemon FireRed Gameboy Advance game.

Pokemon is randomly inspirational, huh? Galaxy, my Mewtwo on my FireRed game, duking it out with Helix, my Rayquaza on my Ruby game, and neither giving an inch.

More Pokemon. My Suicune on FireRed is about to show my Groudon on Ruby that just because something is new, it isn't always better.

Comics
Some short couple-frame comics I've made after getting random ideas that may be entertaining.

Quick comic number one. Bandit never allows Demon to finish talking. Maybe this will teach him a lesson...

Quick comic number two. Demon gets vamp-envy and gets a bit obsessed with the whole sleeping-upside-down thing. Tempest gets curious. Wonkiness ensues.

One-frame comic of me and Rose, my real-life, white tiger-obsessed friend/follower, in our humanlike forms. Read it. Warning: comedy.

Outdated Art
Anything that is several years old and "ancient", and therefore something I've since improved from but used to draw like.

Dipstick, or Dippy, a Harlequin Great Dane. I think I messed up the hind legs/ankles on this one.
Done on Valentine's Day of 2006.

Stormy again, but just a facial view.

Demon in her felcanine form again. I would have added the spotty paws, but once I finished, it was too smearable. Sorry.

Demon in her canine form, all dressed up in sledding gear and taking a stroll with her teammates. Yes, the tongue is supposed to be that color. She doesn't have frost bite on it or anything.

Demon in her canine form with her half-brother, Bandit (Chance's canine form).

Demon in her canine form, sort of enjoying being able to float while holding her breath in a big pool of water. ^^

A rather old sketch of Demon in her felcanine form being tied up, messed-up muzzle wrinkles and all.
Listening to "Staind - Mudshovel" at the time. oO; Got randomly inspired.

Another mouldy-oldy. Demon in her felcanine form, stalking something. I was going for a sort of bitter, hurt and pouting expression, even though it's just shadeless-inking.

Demon in her felcanine form, listening to her/my ipod and boogy-ing. >3 'Dance, dance..'

An old sketch of me and Dippy, in our canine forms..I used to be really proud of this one at one time.

A sketch of my role playing characters, all in their canine forms. Not /that/ old, but old enough to belong in this section.

That's all for now...
I'll add more art whenever I draw it. ^^

All art here is entirely copyright to Dember; even though what the characters are may or may not be.
