RUBY OF TANTALUS: Yoshitaka Amano Artwork Version

This costume pays homage to two overlooked figures in the Final Fantasy series: the game, Final Fantasy IX, and the non-playable character, Ruby. As a dancer, I've always had an affinity for Ruby -- a sassy barmaid who moonlights as an actress and ballerina for the Tantalus Theatre Troupe. Although I based the design off the Amano artwork version of Ruby, I took a signifigant amount of artistic license with my first costume in 2006. However, when I remade the outfit from the ground up in 2007, I went for greater accuracy.
