 Almost everyone recognizes Dominic
Monaghan from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, in which he played Merry
Brandybuck, one of the four hobbits on their adventure to destroy the
ring, or from ABC's Lost,
in which he plays Charlie Pace. In my opinion, Dominic isn't
noticed as much as he should
be. He's one of the hottest actors today, and yet there are only
few websites with tributes to him. If you're interested, browse

may even begin to like him! His career started shortly after he
entered sixth form school. He landed the part of Geoffrey
in Hetty Wainthrop Investigations in the U.K.
"I think deep down I've always wanted to be an actor. It was the one
thing in school that I was undoubtedly enthusiastic about and good at.
I coasted along being good at German, Geography, English and football
but there wasn't anything that I could really call my thing, my niche."

His older brother Matthew is a translater in Austria
*Dominic loves insects and reptiles. He owns a chameleon named
Karma, a black widow spider named Witchitar, a leaf mantis named Gizmo,
an albino garter snake named Blink, some cockroaches, and he currently
collects lizards at his home in Hawaii. He used to have two
Egyptian scorpians, but they died.
