Empty  SAC Productions uses a number of tools in order to create sound and music files for each of our projects.

Midi  format sound files must be used in all SciStudio created games.  This software includes a relatively easy to use interface with a built in instrument bank.  The composing feature of this software includes a view that displays either a guitar fretboard or standard piano keys while also displaying the musical score.

Is used  in conjunction with Anvil Studio's in order to convert the midi sound files into a resource file which can be used by the SciStudio created games.  This software has a limited range of usefulness, primarily this software is used to assign soundcard properties to an in game sound.

Multi  purpose, all inclusive home recording suite.  This software creates sound files of almost any type.  While there is no built in instrument bank, many sound loops can be found at their website.  This software does have a free trial but to any amateur musician or just somebody who wants to manipulate sounds you should definately check this software out.  May I suggest giving it a little time before you are used to the controls because there are a lot of options which provide a great deal of control.
