The movie takes place about two years after Edward and Alphonse being seperated. Edward is living in our world with a man named Alfons Hiedrich. Edward and he studies rockets. Edward bthinks if he studies rockets he could be able to go back home. Back in the alchemy world where Alphonse, who lost all his memories of his journey with his brother to find the Philosopher's Stone, appears to be using alchemy to make a well.
Then you'll see Armstrong transmuting that guy's shop, from episode one, and the guy is shocked. After that they thought an earthquake was happening so Armstrong helps Rose get some children away and armors look like they're coming up from the ground. Then a tornado comes and it was transmuted by Alphonse. Alphonse is happy to see Rose but he was kind of scared of Armstrong. Then a armor comes and tries to attack Alphonse from behind, but Alphonse acted quick and transmuted parts of his soul into the armors.
