Hey! It's still alive! After a little over a year. . .
In all honesty, I really only randomly arrived at this page. And to an anonymous (or not so anonymous--the glory of IP addresses and Asian people identifying friends) comment yelling at us. Still, it got me to write a rant in the Freedom of Speech section. Although this will probably now go forgotten for another year. . . (right, sorry about that)
Also, mibba is no more. Or mine, at any rate. So no more authors/stories will be added from there. (Unfortunate, too, because there's one story I truly wanted to finish reading but it won't let me now. I really should have thought that through a bit better, but it was aggravating me. Besides, I like Fictionpress much better.)
Unfortunately, many of the glorious Fictionpress authors that we enjoy suffered from great and drawn out plagiarist tormentors and retracted their stories from the web entirely.

Success, an update! If anyone's still around to feel proud of me, that is.
So, yesterday in school I finally asked the last person needed for their consent on the cohorts page (ignoring that we've been planning to do so since sometime in summer), and cohorts is now being properly posted. We just, you know, have a fair too many more ideas left over that we haven't started working on.

Right, so, not truly an update this time. One is soon coming for the Freedom of Speech page, as I'm working on a rant. And, probably for the Scribbled Supremacy as well, that's long overdue for one.
Anyway, the main purpose of this update is to explain that school has fallen upon us, and being in the more advanced classes, less time is available for this site. Either way, we shall try. Many things to balance along the way...

Nothing very important today, I assure you all. I've updated the Freedom of Speech section with a rather long babble that I'd much like to take back right about now, but I'm far too lazy to write a new one.
I'm nearly done with the content for our much allusioned cohorts page, but still waiting on the consent to add one last person. The layout has long since been down for that page, as it is, but of course, a special layout.
As for anything else, I still say anyone reading this should check out and vote on the Polls page. If only to say I've done my part in appeasing the Asian. S'long.

It'd be much appreciated if everyone would please look to the left and spot the link under navigation labeled Polls. Or, click that link right there.
It is all explained on that page what it is needed for and so on, so forth.

So, an update was bound to be written from me in any case... Should get to that rant I said I'd do, but unable to think of a topic. Thus, my true reason for updating...
Anyone up for a mailing list? Which would mean one would not be required to check this site as often to find updates, as it has somewhat slowed down lately. The mailing list would be operated by us, meaning you could also ask questions and reply to our e-mails as well. Comment on the side if anyone's interested. (I simply don't know how many regularly check here, though...)
Other things while I'm at it, nothing on layout as of yet. Lack of an idea on what to put for a header image... This site is quite vague, as it shows.
Cars page, cars page... Uh, well, there will be something eventually. Maybe it will be similar to Top Gear but in words. Eh.
Music based page will come along soon. Should, at least. About it for now...

Well, that's a significantly fast update, yes?
There's now a new area altogether under stories in Scribbled Supremacy: Plays. I've put up a monologue in there that anyone who sees this simply must read.
Other than that, me and The Asian One have thought up an idea for yet another page--this one based around music. After all, that's important to people, isn't it? And if it isn't, I'm dependent on it enough for everyone. Cohorts is coming along at its usual snails pace, but we're at least getting our friends' permission. And, the permanent layout at least has a vague idea as to what it should be.

Nothing all too important. I've only just updated the Freedom of Speech section for a certain blonde friend of mine and The Asian One.
We've some sketchy plans set out for a new cohorts page, of our friends. Alas, we're a bit too lazy to put them into action just yet.
Now, I must be off to teach The Asian One some skills she should've learned long ago.

Well, I figured this could use an update or so.
We're actually getting a good somewhere on the Scribbled Supremacy page, or at least have collected a little over half of our current list of authors' consent. I know, it's amazing, isn't it? We're actually asking for permission--and good thing too, because some have asked us not to. Still, a fair amount of writers and stories have already been listed and ranted about, if anyone wants to look that up.
Now, my favorite part. I've challenged The Asian One to complete a rant in the Freedom of Speech section. When she will, I cannot possibly say, but in all the many years I've known her she's never backed out of a promise. So then, there's something to look forward to. For me, at least.

So, fiddled around with lots of stuff today... It's actually coming along quite well, this site. More things coming soon, meaning new pages (although we've added a few too). And, the header image above this, makeshift as usual.
The layout is being planned, but some indecision is taking place, thus making things rather complicated. Gradually becoming something, though, albeit slowly. Balanced with other objectives and what not, that is how it is...
But, speaking of coming things. It seems that the Scribbled Supremacy page is getting more and more planned out. One may already see the idea from viewing it, and it is evolving into something grander. Well, that is if one is as appreciative of literature as the two creators of this site. Hopefully, how could one not? (Eh, I wish, that is the truth of the world...)
I feel like taking a poll of how some people found this site, but then realized it might just be pointless. Meh, maybe later... or not.

Well, look at this, it's beginning to look more and more like a real website.
Real one will come... whenever. We shall begin working soon after today. Today's the day of the Doctor Who finale, which I shall be viewing soon.
Ah, brilliant show that is.
Anyway, tell me how you all like the new layout.

So, I've updated the glorious ranting section.
Mostly, I assure you all, because I realize how dismal our updates have been.
Honestly, though, that's truly all there is to say.
Perhaps I should then begin my summer work... or else at least set about on another story.

Updating about... some of the other pages added? Yeah, sure, let's go with that.
Some of them have been brainstormed, such as a car page, we'll get on that. But, I think it's best if we merely do those after we finish the layout.
And, the layout is to come soon, we have most of it planned out. It just needs to be made. Ah, making it is the challenge after all.
At least it's summer time, insinuating more liberty to do whatever one wishes? Or not...

See, this is an accomplishment: I can officially say I've updated the updating page.
I've also brought it upon myself to bring in a new rant, for anyone who actually reads those.
As well, here's the fun part, now there's a bit of a search within the quotes.
There is one quote by each of the co-owners, seemingly out of place from my chronological order, but in order of their last names.
Their listed names just isn't their last names, hence the puzzle/search of it.

Hooray, I got the final backgrounds down. At least, I hope they are...
Paint splats are win. So, no complaining... The colors work with it. They also make it look less "fluffy and cute," as one said...
Anything else? Oh, yes, layout drawn out. Will be coming soon... that's hopeful thinking, though.

Did some more, but of course, it isn't exactly visible...
Colors changed, to better colors. Much better colors. They don't hurt the eyes as much, and are easier to see... Pretty much what colors I'll use on the final layout.
Which will be a while...? Though, of course, different color schemes and such.
Scroll bars on some sections. Better? Or, are the columns more preferable...?
