My name is KAREN VESA CALLORA and i reside in the PHILIPPINES. My name, VESA, originated from The Beatles' song, Besame Mucho. We were a great fan of them. My school is a forest, Regional Science High School. There are alot of "friendly" monkeys, snakes, etc. but now, we are not scared of them anymore.

I graduated elementary as a salutatorian in class. I had the highest grade in English. I passed the other subjects' cut-off and i was sent to Subic for high school. I also aimed a scholarship from my mother's work. I get paid 300 a month as allowance. I was also awarded, BEST IN SPELLING. I had the average grade of 90 in English in the APSA Achievement Test. Luckily, it was the highest grade and i was awarded for that.

I passed the high school entrance examination with a grade of 87. RSHS is a respected school and i was lucky to be part of it. I joined alot of competitions too like the Solo Singing Science and Math Fair. I won 3rd place. Filipino Solo Singing, i was in 6th place. KALIS Acoustic Band Competition, we won 2nd place. Filipino Quiz Bee, i was the 3rd placer.

I got involved with other things too. Mostly in writing. Me and my classmate joined SUBAC Scriptwriting Workshop. We send our articles to CANDY magazine (a local magazine). I also work as Online writer. I've read alot of articles about students earning money thru the Internet so i tried Writing.com, Shvoong.com, Money4Blogs.com and i applied for Google Adsense using my mom's tax information. I have a blog too where i write my daily thoughts. I also send fashion portfolios for a well-known fashion designer, Happy Andrada.

I live with my family in a cute apartment, yet faraway from my school. I am a filipino with special touches of Spanish and Japanese. I have 2 sisters. My sister, Hanna Krishna Callora is the eldest. She works at ABS-CBN Call Center. She's a writer of articles and screenplays. She's fluent in English and would love to achieve more from her skills in music, pop culture, art, analysis, writing and dance. My other sister, Hazel Jean Callora. She's shallow, funny and persnickety. She loves to cook gourmet meals. We all have our different interests but only one goal. I'm desperate for fashion, my sister is passionate about writing and my other sister has the knack in cooking. And we all want to be rich, famous and happy.

The hippies, or generally our parents, are the grooviest-funkiest parents that ever lived. My mom is a chemist. She's a valedictorian from her high school. She was promoted as a supervisor. My dad is a businessman and a neo-dialect rockstar :) They both agree with our interests as long as it leads us to success. They even agree with weird clothing. They're just ours.* :)
