The Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense
I'm playing a no-GM storytelling RPG. Pretty cool. You normally use
it with your favorite GM'd tabletop/paper/pencils/dice RPG. My main comment so far
is that it won't generate dialog from NPC's the way a GM'd game would, but other
than that-- the excitement and quality of experience is very high.
Unlike traditional gaming, the plot is not devised in advance by a referee. Assisted
by dice, the situation emerges in an organic manner. Its plausibility is ensured
by the players together cooperatively setting the general odds when a Continuity
decision is required. It's ten times easier than it sounds.
The 'campaign' or 'chronicle' we're playing is based on the comic
book series <a href="en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B.P.R.D."> "B.P.R.D."</a>.
Here's a Faction Record Sheet filled out for the B.P.R.D.:
