Snowfall Night is a webcollective for the person who owns/operates it, FuyuMaiden. Everything of mine that ends up on the internet (stories, videos, graphics, etc.) will be kept track of here.

This way, anyone who wants to check out more of my things can do so easily!

Basically this site shows my attemtps to be a "Renaissance Girl" or anime and the internet. I wanna do everything (except draw...can't do that).

So, the username/penname I use all over the internet is FuyuMaiden.

The name I originally used was LostHopeFuyu because I was just bored and more than sounding pretty...that one just looked really pretty when it was written out.

But in message boards, people tend to shorten names...I got tired of being called "LostHope" really fast.

So, I decided to keep Fuyu (which is Japanese for winter) and added my favorite English word, Maiden. Because my favorite image in the world is of a girl in the snow. For some reason...that's just how it is.

Therefore...I became FuyuMaiden. And that's it.

Well, I generally keep my private life and my..."internet life"...I guess, seperate. It's specifically on purpose or anything. I just have one friend who likes anime and they've moved away anyways. Most of the stuff I do on the internet has to do with anime so...there is my dilemma.

But why not share a little? No personal information really, but about me as a person...why not?

My name is Samantha. I'm generally at home because I'm sick a lot (not any serious disease...I'm just sick very often). Well, it's slightly more complicated than that, but it's absolutely nothing serious. I wonder why I'm even explaining all that anyways. *ahem*

I love anime and manga. In the great debate of anime vs. manga...I generally love whichever came first for a series. Meaning...Princess Tutu and Pretear (Anime) and Full Moon wo Sagashite and Shugo Chara! (Manga). I really think that's the only suitable answer to that question.

As far as what sort of anime and manga...well definitely shoujo, though not every kind. I dislike shoujo that is very...typical and generic. Also, if a manga never ends up surprising me even a little bit, I get bored with it. So I love manga by Arina Tanemura and CLAMP because they're good with surprises.

That's mostly it. I love writing. I make some...basic graphics. I like making AMVs and MMVs for some of my favorite anime and manga as well. Basically...all of my interests are somewhere on this site. So there really isn't a heck of a lot to say, now is there?
