GCW Reunion Show

Global Division of Wrestling has not always been the number one promotion in professional wrestling. Once upon a time there were two: International Division of Wrestling and Global Championship Wrestling. The former was owned by Dan Herrera and the latter was jointly owned by Mike Michaels and Matt Alan. The merger of these two organizations brought about what we know today as Global Division of Wrestling.

Join GDW as we head into New Orleans Arena for the GCW Reunion Show on Friday Night Fever. GCW Alumni promise to be there to share their memories of the once great organization. Also on tap for Friday Night Fever will be the 2009 GDW Awards Presentation as well as the very first one on one meeting between Angelica Jones and new World Heavyweight Champion Glory Braddock in a non-title main event spectacular.

Game Over for the GDW President?

Game Over was expected to be a night thrills and chills, bumps and bruises, and all out violence with the ever exciting and ever dangerous Apocalypse Match headlining the September pay per view extravaganza Game Over. To say that Game Over lived up to expectations would be an understatement.

Meagan Collins was able to secure the Fever Television Championship. Jake "The Heartthrob" Storm won his record setting third Revolution Championship. Glory Braddock, however, was the biggest winner of them all, leaving the Apocalypse Match with her first World Heavyweight Championship.

The biggest surprise came after the Apocalypse Match had come to a close. A brawl had broken out in which Suffrage had gained an upper hand over GDW loyalists. Things began to look up when GDW Owner Mike Michaels came out to the ring wielding a kendo stick. It appeared as if Michaels had gotten out of his rut. It appeared as if "Simba" was back. Mike, though, showed his true colors by blasting the GDW loyalists with the kendo stick and joining Suffrage.

Simba is indeed back and now that he is aligned with Suffrage he has ultimate power. He has fired GDW President Kayla Jones but will it stick? Will Jones retaliate in any form or fashion? Can she retaliate? Find out on GDW Friday Night Fever!
