Hmm. The image is nice, but it neither matches the layout inside nor is necessary. I'm pretty much indifferent about splashes or enter pages, but I have to tell you, it irritates a lot of people, especially ones with slow Internet connections, because it's just yet another link that they have to click to go anywhere. Sometimes there's a use, like your "Best Viewed in IE" note, however, that can be included on your layout. My suggestion would be to get rid of this splash altogether.Layout - 17/20
I must say that pink is one of my least favorite colors, but this layout is wonderful. It's much better than your past few, and the image is nicely made. Maybe the CSS shouldn't be entirely black; I'd suggest some sort of grey hover effect on your links so people know they are there and not closed pages or something of the sort. I have to add that I love the header "Atomic Lemon", how "Lemon" is layered over "Atomic". However, I sneaked a peek at your source code, and it's very messy; you use more html than is technically proper these days, and it looks like you might use premade CSS? Perhaps not. I would suggest making your stylesheet an external one and just linking it on your individual pages. I believe RainysWorld may have a tutorial, but I might be wrong. Also, the "navigation" picture is a bit blurry, and the layout could do without it. I would make that some sort of header, just text without a picture.Content - 19/30
RELATEDVery nice that you have a guestbook. Considering you don't have a commenting script, this is a great way to get feedback (along with your Cbox.) On this page, "advertising" is spelled with an 's', not a 'z'. Good that your affies have their own page. It might be something to consider to link them on the sidebar with the next layout, considering I know that Genetic Anomaly and RainysWorld at least link all of their affies on their sidebar. It's only fair, but just an idea. It's also a good thing that you have numerous linkbacks, so affies can choose.
RANDOM
I like your avatars. Some of them look a little rushed, though I like "Spread your wings and fly" and "my sanctuary". Lyrics from Utada's song? Maybe not. But I love that song. Moving on, though. In your signatures, I don't really like how "falling" is cut off of the sig a little bit. You shouldn't cut off text unless it's a deliberate design choice, and it doesn't look to be so here. It's cool that you animated the heart though, and the lyrics from A Fine Frenzy's "Almost Lover". I love the "look to the sky" banner. ^^ On your signs, you could probably add some brushes or text effects.

I need to read these books again. Still remember all the characters! Can't wait to see your graphics. Haha! I love "you smells funny" and "make this nightmare STOP". Very nice. Wow. The signatures seem to be the best-made graphics so far! These are very beautiful! "Wait. They don't love you like I love you." I like that a lot. The banners are okay. However, these strike me as slightly larger signatures, not banners. I definitely like the first of the signs the best. On every graphic I've discussed so far, I would say to add more brushes and text effects, and if you have a program in which you can control it, change the opacity of some of your text and brushes to something a little more translucent. Then it looks more a part of the graphic and smoother.

I've seen a lot more of these lately. That's a good thing, by the way; if visitors can get exactly what they want, they will be sure to flock to your site. I LOVE the blog you made for "Duck". I encourage you to add things like this to your regular content!

For some reason, I don't think I've ever looked at this. -bonk on noggin- Let's take a look see at Ferny. (I'm not going to judge the content, more the usefulness of it.) Oh! Ferny, I love that you love KH and Utada :] You don't have to capitalize all of the words though. It's short and sweet and to the point, and yet it leaves me wanting a little bit more. Maybe describe your personality more? Now to look at Rainy's. I have a freckle on my left pinky. I would say add a little more here too. One thing that's cool to have on your "About Me" is what your name means. Try looking them up here if you feel like it.
HELP
Look at your FAQ page. Some parts are centered and others not, and some are double-spaced while others are single. It's great that you have an FAQ though. It's good that you have a linkback tutorial. This is actually the only one I've ever seen. I also like the banner with Beatles lyrics on it.
