past layouts of GA

Jump for the Stars

Not the best layout on the face of the earth, and it also didn't belong entirely to me; as credited on the layout, it was made using a div template from Rooeh.net. I also didn't know how to change the colors on the template either, at least not very well, and the site was constantly changing in little tiny ways as I figured it out. It was based around black, soft blue, and white and using a picture of Zooey Deschanel, an actress I'm rather fond of and is one of my friends' favorites.

Paper Bag

A layout using the same divs (tweaked and color-changed). It featured a blend of the lovely Emma Watson. I didn't have the program Pixie, then, so I had to guess-'n'-check with the html colors, so none of them really matched but they were close enough, I suppose. It was all a bit too pale for my liking, though I was rather fond of the blend.

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic

This one, I saw some youtube video based around the song "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and Emma Watson's character Hermione Granger, both of which I love, so I decided to make a simple layout with circles of Emma and 'magical' little sparkles. This one was a lot cleaner than previous layouts. It still featured the same divs, with navigation in large Times New Roman beneath the header image.

Passive Passionate

For this one I had put up a poll previously asking visitors which colour palette I should base the next layout on. They picked one called "passive passionate". I was perfectly happy with that, except for the pink (I hate pink). So I used it all and then (still didn't have Pixie) my internet wouldn't load colourlovers.com so I couldn't get the html from the colour palette! I had to redo it using a guess-'n'-check kind of method again, so it kind of looked like I'd used the colour palette and kind of not. Passive Passionate features the movie Atonement and colors of soft grey, red, and green.
