My name is Kate, I'm 17 20 and live in Newcastle Sydney. I run this Guy Sebastian fan site because I really adore Guy. I think he is an amazing talent and to me, is incredibly inspiring.
In this section of the site you can learn a little more about the girl behind the site. I don't like it when people take life too seriously, you gotta know how to have a good time and love life. I'm into partying and I'm into God. I love to travel. I like to act, dance & sing but am not particulary talented at any one of them. I love to wait for hours before concerts in anticipation & then scream my lungs out when the auditorium doors are finally opened. Obviously, I'm into the internet and webdesign. I've had a website since i was in YR7. I started on expage. I've had a lj for a few years now. Other then that, I love public speaking & am usually quite confident. More then anything I see myself as considerably independant.
Others say that I'm loud and opinionated. One guy once called me perky but I've been assured that it wasn't my personality 
he was referring to and I was once even described as intelligent and humourous... how true that is, I'm really not sure. The only thing that I really can't stand in others and in myelf is pretentiousness... I hate how self important some people can be. I am a strong believer in equality.
I listen to mainstream music & don't mind admitting that. I am a total fangirl. I love music and musical artists so much, hearing live music from my favourite artists is probably my favourite thing in the world. I've waited for hours upon hours to get tickets to concerts, or get front row in general admission events. My favourite radio station is NXFM (106.9) and my favourite music comes from John Farnham, Human Nature, The Bee Gees, Elton John, Joshua Kadison, Delta Goodrem, Silverchair, Guy Sebastian, Rob Mills and one of my favourite songs ever is 'What About Me' by Moving Pictures. That Thing You Do, Almost Famous & Never Been Kissed are my favourite films. TV wise, I couldn't live without M*A*S*H, Dawsons Creek, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Australian Idol and Rove [Live] ... the Footy Show is pretty hilarious too [go the KNIGHTS!!]. Some of my favourite celebrities, apart from the aforementioned musicians, include Angelina Jolie, Rove McManus, Micheal Vartan, Hugh Grant and Paris Hilton.
I have just completed my HSC and recently been accepted into the University of Newcastle to study a Bachelor of Science. I plan on using my degree to pursue a number of careers including [but not limited to]: Counselling, Navy Officer and a high school Teacher. I completed one year of my Bachelor of Science degree before deciding it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. I have spent the last year and a half working in retail, I am now a manager. I'm currently looking for a new job, one that offers reasonable pay and more decent hours. A job that I will find fulfilling, day to day. I know I sort of lack direction, I just know I want to be happy.
