HUMAN NATURE HISTORY
- Toby, Mike, Phil and Andrew came together at their high school some time in 1990 to form the vocal quartet and dubbed themselves the Four Trax. They performed covers but tired of that and decided to try for a record deal. After singing for Sony record executives they were offered a record deal on the spot.
- Their first single, "Got It Goin' On" enjoyed top 20 sucess in Australia and shot to #1 in Japan.
- Their debut album, "Telling Everybody", was an enourmous hit- it remained in the charts for 18 consecutive months and sold more then 500 000 copies making it one of the highest selling Australian debut albums ever. The album went 4 x platinum.
- During 1997, Human Nature toured the UK with R&B group "Eternal"... they were then chosen to support Celine Dion on her summer tour of Europe and then, the biggest honour of all, Michael Jackson 'personally requested' that the boys open for him during his HIStory tour! After months of touring, the guys had performed 50 arena shows in 18 different countries.
- In 1997 they performed in front of more then 2 million people!
- Human Nature have performed at Webley Stadium.
- They have be honoured with a variety of accolades including Peoples Choice and Mo Awards.
- They have recorded a duet with Australian musical legend John Farnham as well as touring with him.
- Human Nature have appeared together in the musical "Happy Days" the arena spectacular and more recently, Toby starred as the Emcee in "Cabaret".
- In 1999 HN released their second album, Counting Down. It entered the Australian charts at #1 and went Gold in its first week of release.
- Human Nature performed the national anthem in front of millions during the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
- The guys made a guest appearance on Aussie soap 'Neighbours', where Michael had a speaking part and they performed their single "He Don't Love You".
- They released 'He Don't Love You' from their 3rd album and it hit #3 on the Australian charts.
- At the end of 2001 the guys released "Always Be With You" and had comedian Guido Hatsiz star in their film clip- this single was released as part of their greatest hits compilation. The greatest hits cd also contained a cover of the Trent D'Arby hit "Sign Your Name" and another new one written by Mike and Andrew, "Shout".
- The guy's have just released a fifth album, "Walk The Tightrope". The guys have always said they aspire to emulate the legends that were the Bee Gees- this album, more so then any of their others, has a distinct Bee Gee's sound. They have released a single "When You Say You Love Me" that has hit #7 in the Aussie charts and the album reaching #12.
- Already having completed 3 huge national tours and many overeas gigs- the guys say they will tour Australia again at the end of this year.
- Human Nature have enjoyed an illustrious and ever evolving career that most performers can only ever dream of. Toby, Michael, Andrew and Phil have proved to fans all over the world that the sky is the limit for them.
