Friday, September 12, 2008: High Point HS Varsity Football's first Home Game at 7:00 PM. Students will stay after school and begin to prepare at 5:30 PM. Students are encouraged to bring money or food for after school.
Tuesday, September 2, 2008: After rehearsal, the Instrumental Music Study Hall Program will begin for students who need to concentrate on their studies. Practice will finish at 4:45 PM, the study hall at 5:00 PM. *Click on "Study Hall Program" for more information.
Monday - Friday (Week only), August 11-22, 2008: The High Point HS "Marching Eagles" Marching Band will hold its annual Summer Band Camp from 9AM to 2PM (week of Aug. 11th only) and 3PM to 5PM (week of Aug. 18th only). This camp is manatory for all students as we prepare for the upcoming marching season. Please plan ahead to attend.
Wednesday, July 23, 2008: Mr. Cherry and the Eagles Music Booster Organization will hold their Band Camp Preparation Meeting at 7PM in the Instrumental Music Room at High Point HS. Camp registration, the upcoming marching season, band fees, fundraising, and other topics will be discussed during this important meeting.
Wednesday, July 23, 2008: Mr. Cherry will hold a meeting with the Marching Eagles section leaders and captains to discuss and prepare for the upcoming marching season. The meeting will begin at 5:30PM.
Monday - Friday, June 16-20, 2008: The High Point HS Steel Drum Workshop will be held in the Allan A. Choitner Auditorium from 10AM to 2PM. The workshop is open for upcoming HP freshmen, Buck Lodge MS band and orchestra students, and HP Band and Orchestra members. *See Pics in the Photo Gallery!*
