"Isn't it nice to know a lot?.... And a little bit not."We first see Little Red Ridinghood on the way to her Granny's. She drops by the Baker's for some bread and sweets. We quickly discover that she has a weakness for the sweets. Little Red Ridinghood is only a child whom we can't expect too much from, but she is feisty. In the first act, she relies wholly on the advise and the help of others and the lessons she learns are a little confused. The opportunity does arise eventually however for her to demonstrate her determination and courage. Musically:Little Red Ridinghood has the honour of introducing the title song to us in the prologue. She interjects into Hello, Little Girl intermittently, and soon after gets a solo turn in I Know Things Now. Although she hangs around for much of the second act, her only musical contributions after that are small roles in Your Fault and No One is Alone. |
