Chris was born in Yorkshire, England. He studied music theory, jazz and classical guitar at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Australia. His musical influences are Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Captain Beefheart, Bela Bartok, Messiaen and Bach.
He returned to England where he met János, and they formed this unique duo.
