Personality: Cassandra, commonly called Cassie for short, is sometimes thought of as a mysterious member of the Tribe because of her introspective character, but can be found in nearly every scene. Cassandra is either Abyssinian or Siamese, one of the few Jellicles of a definite breed. She is very sleek and elegant, and often is found in the middle section of the stage during dance numbers. Cassandra is friendly but usually keeps to herself. She is not usually seen around the Toms, although she is more than happy when the Tugger makes appearances. Cassandra--along with Coricopat, Tantomile, and Mistoffolees--share the ability to sense the presence of other Cats and are the first to become aware of the arrival of Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella and Macavity.

Name: (Greek) helper of men. The daughter of a king during the Trojan war, Cassandra was also a legendary priestess and prophetess of Greece whose prophesies were not believed.
