RULES

These are the official rules to the Jonas Brothers Fanfiction Awards. Please follow them. Anyone found not following these rules will be disqualified from the awards permanently.

1. You may NOT nominate your own work, or yourself for 'Best Author.'

We want the nominees to be the best of the best stories. If you have to nominate yourself, this does not show your full ability. Since our judges are normal readers/reviewers, wouldn't you want another person to nominate you? (code: 22) That would add to the special feeling you get inside when you get the email that you have been nominated.

2. Do NOT nominate your own story under a different penname to create a loophole in our above rule.

Each nomination is looked at separately. The number or times it is nominated is not considered during primary judging. Using different pennames to nominate another author's story is also included in this rule. It is simply unnessessary.

3. Stories cannot be over the rating of R.

For the safety of our voters, please do not nominate stories with a rating over R. If this does occur, the nomination will be discarded.

4. Stories MAY NOT contain incest.

I am only containing this rule because the JB Fanfic Archive has been contacted by Jonas Brothers staff who personally asked not to host incest stories on their site. I hope to stay away from danger myself of getting sued so I cannot allow incest on this site either. Sorry for the inconvenience.
