I started Junior Handling in 1993 with a German Shepherd Dog and came into the Australian Shepherd Breed in the middle of 1998. Showing the Aussie was much easier that the GSD but the competition was fierce. I had Keely Bryan to compete with and instead she inspired me to be as good as I could and taught me the ropes. I will always remember her for her dedication to me. I also have to thank the best dog in the world and that is ASCA, AKC, CKC Ch. Silverwoods Button Your Fly (Magic). He truly has been the biggest asset to my Junior career, Winning Best Junior Handler in November 25, 2000 at the ASCA Of Arizona Silver Specialty under Judge Nancy Perrell, was one of the moments I will cherish with Magic. As we were truly a team that day, with fierce competition we did it! I have achieved many BJH'S awards with great pride. I am very dedicated to this breed and plan to achieve my goals as my career goes on......
