Just the Stories... About Me I was in grade school when Star Trek first hit the airwaves and fully addicted to daily reruns by the time I hit high school.   Though I was a late comer to Star Trek: The Next Generation, I quickly became a solid fan of that show as well. And since late-coming seems to be my liet motif (I was even born a week late!), I didn't get really hooked on things Imzadi until a few years ago...But as they say, better late than never!
I am born and raised in the Washington, D.C, area, where I've lived for all but my four years in college. I'm married and we have three children, a cat, an indestructable hermit crab and an aquarium of fish. Professionally, I wear two hats: I am a Judaics educator and I am an artist. As an artist, I am active in a wonderful group called ArtSites, which is a guild for Jewish artists. Check out some of their creations by following the ArtSites link on the 'Links' page. I also exhibit and market my work on my own through shows and festivals and from my website (also listed on the 'Links' page).  I also am a lover of music. Having been raised with ample exposure to the Jazz greats of the 30's and 40's as well as to classical music, music is as natural to me as breathing. I am, though, particularly fond of the Beatles, who I think were and are without equal.
A more recent addition to my tuneful tastes are the songs of the Israeli singer and song writer Shlomo Artzi. From sappy love songs to moving meditations on the passage of time, his music touches upon just about everything. It is no wonder he is consistently voted as one of Israel's most popular performers.
