A former court clerk, Sally is a member of the Law Society Children Law Panel and has been a panel member since 1989. From that time she has practised almost exclusively in children law matters, both private and public law, representing children, parents and relatives. She is recognised professionally as a senior child care lawyer and is active in various children law professional associations. Sally is an experienced advocate in the Magistrates, County and High Courts and has been an honorary lecturer at Birmingham University on the subjects of The Children Act and Expert Witnesses.
Steve Wilcock, Managing Partner
Steve is a senior solicitor with extensive all round experience in legal practice and legal education. A litigation specialist and a former Legal Practice Course Director, he has extensive senior management experience in legal practice and academia. Steve is an experienced advocate in a wide range of courts and tribunals and a Law Society approved advocacy trainer. He is also an accredited Lexcel consultant, freelance trainer and the manager and principal consultant of our consultancy division, Legal Practice Solutions. He has taught at several universities and is currently an honorary lecturer at the University of the West of England and a professional examiner at Cambridge University.
Felicity Bird, P.A. / Paralegal
A senior P.A., secretary and administrator, Felicity's considerable
experience includes P.A. to the Chief Executive Officer of a major
national company and Secretary to the Head of Area, Birmingham Social
Services - Children's & Young Adults Department. She also has
experience of general legal secretarial work gained in a variety of
local practices.
Felicity is P.A. to our partners and also our office manager and paralegal assistant.
