"Having someone in her life would be nice for sure, but if there was no one in her life to treat her special, then by god she would do it herself." Shante has planned a Valentine's Day to remember. She's got good wine, soft music, good food ~ and the fact that she's her own company is not such a bad thing. And then the doorbell rings, and who should be at the door but an absolutely gorgeous woman, sent for Valentine's Day pleasure. Vanessa is thrilled to be sent to Shante for Valentine's, because it's not often she is sent out to a woman. What a treat! The atmosphere is perfect, and, although Shante had planned it for herself, she couldn't be happier to have a hottie like Vanessa to share it with. And they do share! This is a fast, fun, hot read with a twist at the end that absolutely makes the story. You'll love it.

What a hot Valentine surprise. The Wrong Valentine turned out to be the right story for me. I found the characters were very well developed. The story was extremely focused on its main idea; that of a Valentine delivery that may have been wrong but was very right.
Shante is back in New York City and she is getting over a relationship. I felt bad that she had no one to share special holidays with but I understood why she kept turning down Mark, a co-worker in her office. I could see that she did not want to just use him to keep her company when she had no feelings for him. I loved how Shante primped for her Valentine’s Day. I could totally see doing what she did as I have done it myself in the past. How she was putting on the lotions and lingerie just to feel special.
The story turns red hot after Shante’s shower. It gets even hotter when Vanessa shows up. I was burning up as I read about Shante’s Valentine’s gift. The dedication that Vanessa showed in delivering her gift had me longing for a present of my own.
The Wrong Valentine may not be for everyone but it was the right little story for my reading pleasure.

My Review: Very good book, quick read, fast paced, I really liked the interaction between m
ain characters, from the moment Lisa sees Dante until the last word. I do have to say this is one of the better erotic scenes that I have had the opportunity to read. It is not the average run of the mill, wham, bam, thank you ma'am scenarios. I liked the way Ms. Littlejohn was able begin the love making, hot and sexy and yet at the same time funny and embarrassing. I really loved how Lisa took control. She convinced him that a fling while she was in his country would be time well spent for them both. Would two weeks of Taniea be too much for Michael to handle or will he leave everything he knows to have a thousand more with her?
Asian Spice is an intriguing tale of different cultures and standard stereotypes. We have Taniea Onxy, a young black woman who is climbing her way to the top of the corporate ladder in the automobile industry. Her boyfriend, DeMarcus Green, is very insecure. He breaks up with Taniea due to his belief that a man should make more money than a woman. I believe Taniea is better off without a man who believes in the stereotype of the little woman being dependent on a man. Taniea believes she is having a terrible day until she discovers she is given the opportunity to be head of training at a new plant in Indiana and will travel to China for her training. I love how she jumps on this chance to prove that she is able to handle anything thrown at her. When she goes to China, she has a personal escort from the company to help her while she is there. That person is Michael Shen.
Michael is gorgeous. He would be my cup of tea and I know he was definitely Taniea's. He is not intimidated by Taniea in any way. Michael jumps on the opportunity to have a no strings affair with her. Micheal is very conscientious. He never shirks his responsibilities as escort, and he frequently reminds Taniea through the story that he is being watched to make sure he preforms his duties.
As the days went by, I felt the love growing between Michael and Taniea. I enjoyed how they showed respect for each other throughout the story. Taniea deals with Michael's old girlfriend when she appears and causes problems. I knew then, that Taniea was serious about how she felt for Micheal. When she had to leave China, my heart broke for these two lovers. I enjoyed this captivating story of love across the miles. I wanted to read more about Michael and Taniea and their future. Asian Spice definitely had what it takes to spice up my day.

I loved the story of Christmas With Holly. It had me right from the first pages as RaKeesha took her Uzis and blew away the decorations in the church and the bride's dress right off her body. It wasn't real, of course, but the feelings that RaKeesha expressed through her actions in her mind were so vivid that I could relate to her pain at having her ex dump her and marry someone else.
Rakeesha Holly Black ran away to her family cabin in Vermont to escape being in town for the wedding. When she decides to return home right before Christmas, she winds up being snowed in in Vermont. I could understand Holly's distrust of men and her New Years resolution to swear off them.
Logan Street is an artist who has rented the Black family cabin for the past couple of years and he finds out that Holly is still in residence. Logan is everything that I look for in a hunk; tall, dark eyes, curly hair and the requisite dimple in the chin. Just too handsome for words. Logan sets about changing Holly's mind about men in general and himself in particular.
Their conversations are witty and sharp with a few one-liners that made me laugh out loud. Then when Logan sets about romancing Holly, my heart melted. I know I would love to be coddled and treated like a queen.
Yes, love does happen at first sight. Christmas With Holly showed me that true love will never die even when it is unrequited. I really enjoyed this heartwarming story and find that I will read it again and again.

In this story we meet Taniea Onyx, a strong and powerful black woman who was making very strong strides up the corporate ladder in a man's world. And of course as we know strong women make men leery of having relationships with them or dating them. Her latest boyfriend acted the fool until I seriously wanted to slap him. But my girl headed off to her new promotion to a new city and met some Asian Spice, yum yum. Meeting Michael Shen was a good omen for Taniea, he treated her her with respect and when Taniea offered him some of her chocolate, he accepted her offer and asked for more.

I just love the way Mikhail seduced Christina. He charmed his way into her heart and wanted her to come to him willingly and not by force. Ms. Littlejohn charmed her way into my heart with Mikhail’s story and I can’t wait to read her next story.

Dana Littlejohn is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. The Sun Rose Over Cairo is a story about love and healing. Jose was in an abusive marriage with a wigged-out wife. He had to learn the hard way that “I do” can just be the means to an end for some people. Jose is handsome and shy with a body to make you weep for joy. Top that off with brains and no woman stands a chance of escaping his natural allure and charms. Cairo is blessed to have a friend who recognizes her needs and won’t let her caution distract her from getting to know Jose. I believe in her heart she really wanted someone she could love and feel safe with, but the characters from her past dampened her resolve to fight for the “happily ever after”. This book has more twists than a rollercoaster ride. You don’t just get sex that can pop your toenails off. You gain a bit of suspense, humor, and the opportunity to watch karma in action. I’m only hoping that Ms. Littlejohn will bring back some of the other characters for their own novels. If you like romance with a twist you won’t be disappointed with The Sun Rose Over Cairo.

Sebastian’s Surrender was a delightful book about dreams coming true and discovering your true desires. The characters read like the people next door. While Amber was raised in love, she never knew what it was like to have blood of her blood. Sebastian has been a recluse most of his life but when he touches Amber he knows he never wants to be alone again. Readers of the genre as well as those who love this series will find Sebastian’s Surrender an enjoyable read. Dana Littlejohn has given us yet another wonderful addition to the Dioni Chronicles series.

Margarita is a ghost who died in the late 1800’s. She was murdered by voodoo and needs help to be set free. According to an old woman Gerald meets, he is the one that Margarita needs to be set free. Can he handle the challenges of setting Margarita free?
Cajun Magic was a surprisingly good story. The idea of a wounded cop who only believes the facts helping a ghost was something I haven’t read before. I liked the new twist on interracial romances. The only issues I had were it was sometimes hard to follow the story because there were things not explained. Other than that it was a good story. Good job!

Michael Chen is the handsome co-worker assigned to show Taniea around China while she is there. Taniea makes Michael an offer that he has no intention of refusing and their passions boil over like an unwatched pot on the stove.
Asian Spice is a romantic story of what happens when a woman meets a real man who accepts her as his equal. I was a bit shocked by Taniea’s boldness at times but I loved the fact that she didn’t change to try and keep a man. Michael surprised me in the end, but definitely in a good way. As a couple they, they were hotter than summer in Las Vegas, and a perfect balance. Dana Littlejohn has written another scorcher.

Sometimes people can’t see the forest for of the trees and that is exactly what happened to Jonathan. Kenya is a strong and beautiful woman with an open mind when it comes to sex. I nearly wanted to bash Jonathan when he failed to see the light bulb in the beginning. I almost felt he didn’t deserve such a wonderful woman because he was taking too long to realize her worth. Kenya is so sassy and surprising there is no way readers won’t love her. Littlejohn united a perfect pair and I would love to read more about their lives together after Jonathan’s Bite of the Apple.

The next vampire in line who is to be granted a wife is Sebastian Santos. However, Sebastian is less than jazzed because he really does not care for humans. Their only purpose to him is for feeding. A wife would destroy his solitude but he had to carry out his duty to the clan. Finding his mate sleeping on his porch one evening came as a complete shock.
Amber was frightened of all the things Sebastian made her feel and she was wondering if he might be crazy. Sebastian had just asked her to be his wife and revealed himself as being a vampire the first time she met him. And to make matters weirder, she felt drawn to him.
Sebastian’s Surrender gave me another taste of Dana Littlejohn’s wonderful writing style. Sebastian made a quick change the second he became aware of Amber and that made him seem softer. I enjoyed the fact that Amber was hesitant about getting involved with Sebastian, but I wish her turmoil had dragged on a bit longer. If you enjoyed the first two books of the series, then this one is a must read.

To help the ghost Margarita he had to perform a mental challenge, a physical challenge and a challenge that would require him to push his own beliefs to a whole new level.
Ms. Dana Littlejohn has created a first class fantasy story with a touch of erotic sex and a nice romantic ending. The storyline is creative and well thought out. I was captured with how Gerald was able to move his life from recuperation pain to one that will give him the happiness he didn’t have and never new he needed. The ghost Margarita is a wonderful character that spiced up Gerald’s life and made me want to see her be released from the spell that was cast over her many years ago. The story flowed at just the right pace for an easy reading in one sitting. The erotic sex scene helped to make the decision by Gerald to help Margarita believable. I found the sex scene well written, but not as sizzling as I wanted. The story builds to a nice ending that lead me to visualize a romantic adventure beginning for Gerald and Margarita. I recommend this book to readers that like fantasy stories with a little erotic twist and a nice romantic ending.

Tony is part of a gang called the Latin Lovers. They don’t deal in hard drugs, but they do sell weed and play the role of tough guys against their nemeses, the Knight Riders. To that group, nothing is sacred. Even killing for the sake of proving oneself. Tony has already told Rickey, the leader of the Latin Lovers, that he wants out. He has plans for a future that don’t include being part of a gang. His woman is his world and he aims to make her proud.
Shanita is the beautiful black woman Tony loves. She’s his angel and the person who has given purpose to his live. She takes her obligations seriously and is a no-nonsense type of gal. She’s already encouraged her guy to get his GED and now he’s taking some college courses. When he speaks of marriage and their future together, she doesn’t object.
The Lover and The Firefly is a compelling story of a man embroiled in a gang lifestyle. While he can be sweet and tender with his woman, he’s forced to exhibit a tough bravado to survive among his peers. When his gang leader and best friend, Rickey, is killed, Tony finds himself accused of trying to move into a leadership role. It falls to him to find the person responsible for Rickey’s death or face losing his own life. His continued insistence that he wants out to build a future with Shanita raises doubts about his sincerity among the gang. Tony’s forced to prove his innocence and his loyalty. He’s mortified when Shanita ends up being a pawn in the war between the two factions, but relieved to find some of his brothers still believe him and help save her life.
While I found the gang lore realistic and the romance believable, I was disappointed in the editing. At times it pulled me right out of the story, and I had to go back and re-read parts again. I thought this story could have been even better had the punctuation evened out the flow in the sentence structure. Dana Littlejohn writes with emotion and depth, and I was pulled into the action along with the characters. Her ‘gangsta’ English lent a very credible feel to the story. I did notice some novice traits, so I’m assuming she’s fairly new to the writing world. I look forward to more of her stories and watching her blossom. I wouldn’t hesitate to read more of her work.

Upon meeting Christina at a local club, he sees her fluid movements of dance and knows she’s the one. So he sets out on a hunt to seduce her, and prepare her for his type of lifestyle.
Christina, however, sees him as a stalker. Scared, she refuses to talk to him in person, which only causes Mikhail to resort to speaking to her through her dreams. Somehow he calms her, each one of his words a caress of seduction, until she finally surrenders. But when Mikhail offers her a perfect life, what he asks in return is perhaps more than she’s willing to pay.
Mikhail’s story is book one in the Dioni Chronicles and I must say, after reading it, I can’t wait to see what Ms. Littlejohn has in store for her readers next. Off to a great start, Mikhail and Christina are wonderful characters brought to life by Ms. Littlejohn’s words. I enjoyed Mikhail’s persistence and determination and Christina’s stubbornness. THE DIONI CHRONICLES BOOK ONE: MIKHAIL’S HUNT is a wonderful read for lovers of the paranormal genre.

Cairo's friends think that she is as dry as the Sahara Desert. She
hasn't had a serious male relationship in over three years and they
think it's time for her to hook up with Mr. Right. Cairo is not really interested in finding Mr. Right because being a divorce attorney
with a success rate in the ninety percentile has left her weary of
the who marriage thing. That is until she meets one of her best
friend's co-workers, Jose. Jose has some serious relationship
issues that Cairo wants to help straighten out but demands at
work has her stretched pretty thin. Between one of the Partners
involved in a same sex extra-marital relationship turning up
murdered in the office and one of her "I'm more important that
this entire office" clients being sued by her ex-husband for rings
he considers a family heirloom, Cairo has a lot on her plate. But
some things are more important and when Cairo prioritizes,
everything falls into place.
The Sun Rose Over Cairo was a novel that made you think that this
could so happen to someone in real life. Ms. Littlejohn's characters
could have easily been any group of friends and the hilarious things
they go through on a daily basis. I can really relate to knowing someone
nicknamed "Pumkin" that has a first name that makes most people say, "Huh?" The gradual romance between Jose and Cairo started out as
friends and then progressed to lovers who I thought would stand the
test of marriage and become one of the "Old Marriages" that lasted "until death do us part." I so enjoyed the characters in this book that I hope
to see what happens to the other women in their quest to find Mr. Right. | |||

SEBASTIAN’S SURRENDER Sebastian Santos is a vampire and has been ordered by his clan leader to find a wife to help repopulate their linage. He likes being single and sees no point in marriage. But when he connects with Amber, he knows she is the one who can complete him and be his wife. Amber likes her life but she wishes for a family to call her own. As she heads off for a picnic to relax, she soon learns that Sebastian owns the small place she thought was abandoned. They have an instant connection but when Sebastian tries to show her who he really is she runs away in fear. Sebastian has never before felt this way and needs to somehow convince Amber that they belong together and that he will never hurt her. Amber is scared, she has just met this man and he tells her he is a vampire, what is a girl to think? This is a great quick read. Straight to the point and is great for when you are short on time but would like something juicy to read. I have enjoyed Ms. Littlejohn’s books in the past and this being no exception as well. Peter Cook owns Chef Cook’s Restaurant. He is a potential client for Spit Shine Cleaning. He was attending the Valentine's Day party where he met Summer. She walks through the doors of the Radisson Hotel and Peter spots her right away and has to talk to her. Peter approaches her to talk. It was a rocky conversion at first but quickly smoothed over. They had a few drinks, talked, danced and flirted with each other. Summer didn't fight the urge to stay with Peter even though she was there to work. Lover's Brew is a sweet and remarkable Valentine's story. Dana Littlejohn has written the perfect story about love at first sight. I was a little disappointed when this book ended because it was such a wonderful story between Summer and Peter.
