Ace Boggess
Ace Boggess (Huntington, WV), senior associate editor for The Adirondack Review, is author of one book of poems, THE BEAUTIFUL GIRL WHOSE WISH WAS NOT FULFILLED, published in 2003 by Highwire Press. He earned degrees from Marshall (B.A.) and West Virginia (J.D.) Universities. A fellowship recipient in fiction from the West Virginia Commission On the Arts, his writing appears in Harvard Review, Poetry East, Notre Dame Review, Atlanta Review, The Southeast Review, The Florida Review  and similar journals.  Currently he seeks a publisher for his literary novel, STATES OF MERCY, represented by Anne Hawkins in New York, that follows a spiritually-inclined young woman through the turmoils of the new millennium and 9/11 while she strives to find the key to her enlightenment.  His new audio CD featuring 13 songs was released in May.  Many of his songs can be downloaded as free mp3 on various web sites (artist.amazon.com/aceboggess, www.besonic.com/aceboggess, music.download.com/aceboggess).


Kristy Bowen
Kristy Bowen’s work has appeared in a number of publications, including Small Spiral Notebook, Stirring, and Poems Niederngasse. She is the author of two chapbooks, Bloody Mary and The Archaeologist’s Daughter, and a hypertext collection, lattitudes.  A two-time Pushcart nominee, Bowen was recently awarded first place in The Poetry Center of Chicago’s 10th Annual Juried Reading Competition.  She lives in Chicago, where she edits the online journal Wicked Alice, and is the founder of Dancing Girl Press, devoted to publishing work by women poets.  More of her work may be seen at: www.angelfire.com/poetry/wickedpen.


Joe Brennskag

Curtis Cole
Curtis Cole, the author of lovelifeloss currently resides in Texas with his two lovely children. Besides his book, his work has been published in Nevermore Magazine, The Bawl Point Pen, The Poetry Sharings Journal, and other publications. 


Carolyn Fuller
Carolyn Fuller is a writer who lives in Michigan with her husband and two children.  She has worked as a journalist for Camden Publications, and published and edited Soubriquet~The Zine of Ironies.  Her poems, a book review, a short story and an essay have been published in The Stone Table and Sensual Aspirations.


Jennifer Lynn Hall
Jennifer Lynn Hall's poems appear in Confluence, Pebble Lake Review, Silhouette, Mobius, Poems Niederngasse, Pierian Springs, Umbriate, Fiction Falls, Et Cetera and COPIOUS, with work forthcoming in the anthology, Wild Sweet Notes II: More Great Poetry from West Virginia (edited by Ace Boggess).  She is a member of the Guyandotte Poets, and recently won the Calamity Cafe 11th-anniversary-party poetry slam.


Sheema Kalbasi
Sheema Kalbasi writes in several languages and wrote her first poem at the age of eight. She is the Director of Dialogue of Nations Through Poetry in Translation and co-director of the Other Voices International Project. Kalbasi’s works have been translated and published in various anthologies, literary journals, and online magazines. Her poems "For Women of Afghanistan" and "Mama in the War" have attracted critical attention.  She has traveled frequently, having resided in a variety of countries since a very young age. Today she lives with her husband and their daughter in the United States.


David Krump
David Krump writes: "I am currently pursuing (almost done) a BS in English Writing from Viterbo University.  I recieved the Genglier Award for Composition in 2000, and this last May (2004) I recieved the Newman Award for my last collection of poems words for rain.  My work has appeared or is forthcoming in Rio: a Journal of the Arts, Red River Review, Chiron Review, Blue Fifth Review, L'Intrigue: the Wild Magnolia of Literature, Steam Ticket, Unlikely Stories: a collection of literary art, and about a dozen other kind journals."


Brenda LaFleur
I have been an on again, off again amateur photographer for many years. Digital opportunities have rekindled my interest. I have always focused on landscape and travel photography but am attempting to broaden my sights.  I've taken Bryan Peterson's Exposure and Learning to See Creatively classes and Lewis Kemper's Photoshop #1 and PhotoShop #2 classes. I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and take advantage of the many photo ops here in the bayou country. 


Marie Lecrivain
Marie Lecrivain is a writer/photographer residing in Los Angeles, stuck in the 10th level of poetic hell, and is the executive editor of poeticdiversity. Her work has appeared in Animus, Aesthetica, Poems Niedergasse, The Blue House  and The Homestead Review. Her collection of poetry, Canticle of a Bored Hausfrau, is available through Sybaritic Press.


Richard Messer
Richard Messer writes: "I was once a teacher of creative writing and have published one book of poetry and prose and many individual words of poetry and fiction in places like The Sun and the Nation, and Black Warrior Review."

Graham Nunn
Graham Nunn is a Brisbane based writer, current Director of the Queensland Poetry Festival and founding member of local performance group speedpoets . Currently he edits and produces the monthly speedpoets zine. Donnali Peters
Donnali Peters is a 53 year old homemaker who has devoted her whole life to family and church. Her three kids are now grown. In the midst of a mid life crisis a few years back, needing something to fill her time, she bought her first digital camera - a Sony Mavic FD88 - and took a little trip to Hawaii. That was her first experience with a camera, and since that time, she's gotten another Sony - the FD95. She is now waiting for the Sony 828, which has 8 megapixels. After all these years, she has found her passion, and it's photography. She loves to find the story in every picture. Mark Prudowsky
The poet lives in Western North Carolina where he works as an electrical contractor. Recently he had some poems accepted for publication at offcourse literary magazine.  He will be reading at Warren Wilson College on September 17, 2004. 


Brenda Tate
Brenda Tate is a recently retired high school drama and English teacher from Canada. She was a finalist in the Glimmer Train 2002 spring competition, and in the 2003 Winning Writers War Poetry competition. She won the IBPC contest for May, 2004, with 18 poetry boards participating and also received Honorable Mention in the 2002 UAS Explorations poetry competition. Kosta Trimovski
Kosta Trimovski writes: "I started photography in February of 2003 when I bought my first camera Fuji3800.

Ann White
Ann White, a native Floridian, is a former journalist who began writing poetry in 2003. Her poems appear or are scheduled for release in a few journals and online publications including HLFQ, Barbaric Yawp, Blue Fifth Review, Triplopia and The Pulse. She is a 2003 Pushcart Prize nominee.
