Great Shot for the Wrong Team...

Mike Fuentes writes, "This is one of those shots that works well for a portfolio but did not work for the particular job I was doing that day. I was working a temporary job for the other team's sports information department, but they probably wouldn't want to show their team getting scored against. Sometimes good pictures like this are never even seen.

I feel that this is good shot because not only did I get the excitement of the scorer, the goalie who she beat and the ball, but I got the hair too. I shot this digitally with my Canon 1D and a 600mm lens."
