Akhila Kolisetty is a young poet from New Jersey who is currently a sophomore at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She was born in India and lived there until the age of six. She has written for The Daily Northwestern newspaper, but her poetry has never before been published.

Nanette Rayman Rivera
writes from New York City.  Her first poetry collection, Project: Butterflies, was published this year by Foothills Publishing and her first chapbook, alegrias, was published this year by Lopside Press. In 2006 she received two Pushcart Prize nominations, for poetry (Arsenic Lobster) and non-fiction (Dragonfire).  She won the Glass Woman Prize this year for non-fiction.  Other publications include The Worcester Review, The Berkeley Fiction Review, Carve Magazine, Pedestal, Barnwood, MiPOesias, Wheelhouse, Anti-Muse, Flutter, The Centrifugal Eye, Jack, Sein Und Werden and Carousel.
