Sandy Sue Benitez's poetry has appeared in numerous online journals such as Scorched Earth, Autumn Leaves, Ken*Again, Thick With Conviction, Defenestration, Zygote in my Coffee, Words-Myth, Falling Star Magazine, Chantarelle's Notebook, Tipton Poetry Journal, The Orange Room Review, Killpoet, La Fenetre, Mastodon Dentist, and Unfettered Verse.  Sandy resides in Wyoming with her two hyper children and darling husband.  She is also the editor of Flutter, an online poetry journal.  Her first book of poetry, Ever Violet, by DN Publishing, will be out early this year.  Sandy has two chapbooks, Beneath a Black Pearl Sky and Petal Storm, available at Lulu.com.

Kristy Bowen

Kristy Bowen lives in Chicago where she writes poems and makes vague attempts at collage and book arts. She is the author of the fever almanac (Ghost Road Press, 2006) and feign (New Michigan Press, 2007), as well as another project, in the bird museum, forthcoming from Dusie Press Books.  She is also the editor of the online lit zine wicked alice and founder of dancing girl press, devoted to publishing work by women writers.

Jim Chiesa
Jim Chiesa writes: "The famous french photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, "To take a photograph is to hold one’s breath when all faculties converge in a face of fleeing reality. It is at that moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."   When you have felt this level of emotion with a camera then you will realise that Henri Cartier-Bresson was right.  I am based in Le Havre, France. Charley Foster lives and writes in a jungle on a rural Pacific island (population 55,000).  His work has been published in Kauai Backstory and 55 Words.

M. Thomas Gammarino
M. Thomas Gammarino writes: "I have an MFA in creative writing from the New School and am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Hawaii.  I've published fiction in several smallish journals."

Karen Karpowich
Karen Karpowich is a native New Yorker.  Her poems have appeared online on about.com and Words on a Wire, and in print in “Our Journey” Mudfish, Pink Cadillac and in a 9/11 Poetry Anthology by Regent Press called An Eye For an Eye Makes the Whole World Blind.  She has presented her work at KGB’s, Poets and Writers Collaborative and the Cornelia Street Cafe in New York City.  She currently works with Mary Stewart Hammond and has studied with Hermine Meinhard and Donna Massini.  She has participated in Workshops at Sara Lawrence and The New York Writer Voice.

Michele Lesko
Michele Lesko writes: "I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University's MFA program.  I've published poetry and short stories in both online and print journals such as Tiferet, Literary Mama, Storyglossia, and Salvage. I enjoy my work as a staff member at The Gazebo, Alsop Review's on-line workshop and am currently working on a chapbook titled Jane Flirts with Tragedy."

J.R. Solonche
J.R. Solonche is co-author of Peach Girl: Poems for a Chinese Daughter (Grayson Books). His poems have appeared in numerous magazines, journals, and anthologies. He teaches at Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York.

Clint Spencer
Clint Spencer is a freelance writer who lives in Houston. Most recent pulications include The Panhandler, Lily, and Houston Poetry Fest Anthology 2006. His poetry has also appeared in The Texas Observer, Christian Science Monitor, Gulf Coast and Curbside Review.

Paul Stevens
Paul Stevens was born in Sheffield, England, but has lived most of his life in Australia. He has an Honours Degree in English from the University of Sydney, and teaches Literature, Historiography, and Ancient History. He has published on the Julio-Claudians, as well as poetry and literary criticism. He is the founder and editor of The Shit Creek Review.

Ray Sweatman
Ray Sweatman has an MFA from Columbia University, teaches ESL, and is still waiting for one more person to buy his book nothing lit can leave from lulu.com, so he can afford to buy one for himself.

R L Swihart
R L Swihart lives semi-peaceably in Long Beach, CA with his wife and two wondrous daughters.  He teaches high school math in Los Angeles, CA.  Recent work can be viewed in Avatar Review, Softblow and Ghoti Magazine; new work is forthcoming in The Boxcar Review.

Sunny Williams
Sunny Williams writes: "I love photography and creating digital art. I have a Fujifilm S5000 that I take pictures with almost daily and then incorporate them into digital art. I am also a member of a website where I can obtain pictures which I can incorporate into a designated photo or photo design. I live happily with my husband and small dog."
