My Family

My name is Sarah and I am a married mother of two children. Raeah, my daughter is in grade two. Aiden, my son is in grade one. I am married to my husband, Ray. I am a trained Legal Assistant and I have also had some nursing training. I have been a stay at home mom for 7 years. I have decided to open my own day home, three years ago,because I truly have so much fun with children. I could not think of a better career. My Pets and Home

I have a home in the Southfork area of Leduc. I have a large back yard with a play fort and swing set. Inside my home we have two large indoor play areas.

I also am a pet friendly home. We have cats who are all declawed. They are all very friendly but do tend to sleep a lot.

My Views on Child Care

I believe that children should be having fun, especially at this young of an age. I believe that coming to my house should be fun. This is one reason why my daily schedule is not set in stone. I also believe children are spontaneous by nature which is why I don't plan very far in advance. I prefer that the children have some say in what we are doing each day...after all it's their day too! Most of the learning we do will be through play. I do believe in manners and children will be encouraged to say please and thank you. You should also be aware that we do go out and about in the community.
