The Middle East Chronicle

Lately, the winds of change have caught us by surprise, hovering over our desks, papers, and pens; stealing our sleep away and pushing us to the edge. This is the beginning of what could be a new chapter in our lives. The classrooms are congested with opinions and dreams. The streets are swarming with theories and lifestyles. The creativity seems to flow with every breath we take. The age of innovation, individualism, and knowledge has begun. Would we be fools to coin this revolution of mind an “Arabic Renaissance”?
The Middle East Chronicle is the witness, the courier, and the presenter of this development. The cultural diversity, voice of individualism, and tolerance is our goal. Writers, poets, philosophers, artists, and politicians are emerging from their hibernation, and taking the simple steps towards emancipation.
The Chronicle wishes to document this change, and be your online guide into the creative minds of today. It hopes to immerse you into the plethora of stories, experiences, and dilemmas. Occasionally, like any magazine, we’d be playing the devil’s advocate; seeking your opinions, and stirring your doubts. Reader, you have been granted a rendezvous with change. The question is: are you up to it?

Be the change you want to see in the world.
