Yesterday Mayumi and myself had a fabulous photoshoot for our Revy and Hungry cosplay! We took many pictures and I can't wait to show them to everyone! I think they are fantabulous! (^ ^)
Hopefully *crosses fingers* I'll be able to get all of the Otakon pictures up today!! There aren't that many considering I was only there for Friday! But none-the-less it was a fun filled day and I got to see all my friends and other amazing cosplay! ^^

Back from OTAKON!!! It had been too long since I have been to a con! TOO LONG! I LOVED IT! I had a FABULOUS time on Friday!! I saw many of my old friends! My cosplay was nice and easy to get around with! I also got to see MELL in concert!! I could die I feel so blessed to have gotten to see her!!! The rave was amazing! So many fun memories... Except for one... My phone was STOLEN at the Mell concert... Yes. Stolen. (T_T) I am so saddened by this, my phone was like my lover... X(
I have taken quite a few pictures for Friday and once I obtain the ones Mayumi took for Saturday and Sunday, I will post them all up! Can't wait for you all to see them! (^ ^)

Hey y'all~!!! Well I have some AMAZING news~! I will actually be able to make it to Otakon this year!!! (^_^) I'm so excited! I will only be there for Friday however, so if you wanna say 'hi' you'll have to find me on friday! Mayumi will be there all weekend, so you can also pass your love to her! <3 <3
As for cosplay, I'm gonna be crazy and have 2 cosplay for friday! I will be dressed as Integra from Hellsing and Revy from Black Lagoon! Ahh jean shorts are scary (> <)

Hello~! Julie here! I know it's been a while for updating... so sorry! We never made it to Katsucon, busy busy here...
Good news though! We will be having a photo shoot in the coming month! Not sure which costumes yet, but it'll be epic and awesome!! (^ ^) Please look forward to it!
Well, I cannot attend Otakon for the 2nd year in a row... (T_T) Such sad news but Mayumi will be there! Please say hi to her if you see her!

Happy New Year~! It has certainly been a while! I've been very busy busy busy with my last year of college! *ah*
Well I have some cool news, I've been asked to join the Tomb Raider Cosplay site for my Lara Croft outfit from last Otakon! Saweeeet. I feel pretty happy that they added me among the many many amazing Tomb Raider cosplayer! *Happy happy* (I would add a link but the link thing isn't working... boo... so just Goggle if you wanna see!)
Mayumi and I are still debating about whether or not we can go to Katsucon... I'm really hoping I can, but I still need to finish my new cosplay outfits *eep*... We will see...

It's Julie and I've uploaded some pictures of my Integra outfit on the In Progress page! Please go check them out! (^_^) I'm surprisingly getting alot of sewing in the little time I have to spend on it, so I'm really happy with my progress at the moment! Almost done my Integra outfit!
On another note, the ladies of Mercuryrose have been thinking about getting a booth at the next Otakon in the artist alley! You know, sell some artwork and other sorts of ideas we've been coming up with! I was wondering, to our wonderful fans out there, if you have any hints, suggestions, comments, etc. about having a booth in an artist alley... anything would be greatly appreciated! Julie here! I actually began my Integra outfit! Be proud of me! I started working on the pants, which so far have been a big pain... but so far they are coming along nicely! I'll post pictures whenever I get around to it! I'm so busy with school right now! Senior year of college can kill ya...

Mayumi and Julie here! We have been plotting... (yes. plotting. mwahaha)... about our next cosplay ideas! YAY! So here's our ideas!
Mayumi: Once Julie talked about Hellsing, I thought "Oh, I could do yellow Seras Victoria!" and While I'm not yet willing to cosplay the plugsuit, but I want to cosplay Mayumi Kino from Blue Sub 6 because that's where I got my name from! (^_^)
Julie: I mentioned about Hellsing and how I wanted to cosplay Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing for a long long time! So finally I'm starting to actually progress in this idea! After that, I have finally decided it is time to cosplay Kamiya Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin, because she is my idol and I love her! (Kaoru is my Japanese name I use!) (^_^)
So there you have it folks! We have our ideas! We hope you look forward to our new cosplay outfits! We'll be slowly making our progress and upload pictures sometime!
Before Katsucon, we might be able to make it to Zenkaikon in October! Now sure yet... but want to! (^_^)

Hello! Mayumi and Julie here! Now, here's the deal... none of us were able to make it to Otakon this year... It's very sad because this is the first time in 4 years where we have not been able to go to Otakon... We miss the dealer's room, cosplay, and rave already... (T_T)
Instead of Otakon, We decided to do a little photoshoot to make up for the lack of cosplay! The Naruto/Nana/Kagura Photoshoot is now up and running! Mayumi and myself decided to do 2 outfits each, for a whole day of cosplay photoshoot fun! (^_^) I hope you check out that page!
On other news, Julie is back from Japan... I am very sad to be back in America actually, because Japan is the most amazing place in the world! I miss my Harajuku streets of fashion, fabulous food, the trains, and Japanese all around me... *cries* I need to go back now! I still need to upload alot of pictures from Japan, so I'll do that sometime soon! (^_^)

Greetings from Japan~! Hope everyone has been well! My english is slowly... becoming... worse and worse the more and more I stay in Japan... That's not a bad thing is it? I'm wondering what will happen when I come back to America... haha
I've been thinking recently about the upcoming Otakon 2008, it's surprisingly not that far away! I'm slightly worried in the sense of cosplay... because I will be coming home in the late of July... AKA no time to finish many costumes, possibly only one... So I guess I'll have to make that one pretty good... I'm going to be pitching ideas in the next week, just to see which would be easy enough to accomplish in a very short amount of time... It's going to be weird since I'm used to doing at the least 3 or 4 for each Otakon (last year was 5 right?) So I'm gonna upset I can't do that many... shouganai!
I'm thinking of doing the following: Simca (Air Gear), Alexiel (Angel Sanctuary), Gum (Jet Set Radio Future), or Franciska Von Karma (Pheonix Wright)
At the moment, thoses may be opinions... but I'm not sure yet... I'll look into it! If any of you have any ideas for me to do a certain cosplay (Like you think it would suit me well), then please let me know by guestbook signature or e-mail! (arigatou~!)

I'm currently in Kyoto with my parents, they came to visit me while I am on spring break! It's really fun taking around and showing them everything! Good news, my Japanese has become well enough to communicate with people and translate for my parents! *Happy Happy*

Konbanwa~! Hello from Japan! Julie here and I've got some exciting news... well it's more like news for Shiris and Mayumi, but none the less, exciting!
Well~ As you all should know how we cosplay the 3 girls from Magic Knight Rayearth each year, if you know the storyline, the 3 girls meet in Tokyo Tower... well Guess who went to Tokyo Tower??? That's right, ME! The Umi made it to the Tower! (^_^) *Happy Happy* Let me show you some pictures!

I will admit, I got a bit choked up standing inside Tokyo Tower, *(It is however much smaller inside then it is in the Anime haha) I felt kinda aware of why I was in Japan and all... but it felt good to be reminded of home in a stranger way! I miss you guys! (T_T)
