Mikey Dalton was born on the 14th of April 1983, to his parents Jean and Mostafa. Mikey's father is Iranian and him and Mikey's mother named their son Sahin Michael Hamadani, but when he started school in Liverpool he took to using his mother's maiden name, Dalton, and became known as Mikey Dalton. Mikey also has a brother and sister.

Mikey Dalton was a 23-year-old software developer and model from Liverpool when he entered Big Brother. Before Big Brother Mikey said that he's nev been able to be faithful, however his attitude have changed having met Grace in the series. Mikey regards his eyes and his 'abs' as his best features and says his favourite films are 8 Mile and Taxi Driver. While in the House, Mikey develope strong friendships with Sezer, Imogen, Lisa, Glyn, and especially, Grace. Mikey was a surprise eviction on the 4th of August, with just a couple of weeks to go, although he himself admitted he had a bad week - arguing with practically the whole house. His time outside was short, however, because the following Tuesday (8th of August 2006) he was one of the four evicted Big Brother housemates voted into the house next door. He left the House Next Door, on the 11th of August, with Grace and Lea.

Since leaving the House, Mikey's relationship with fellow Housemate Grace Adams-Short has continued to blossom, and on the 21st of October 2006, it was announced that they were now engaged.
