Mississlippy is a website on the internet. Mississlippy was founded
in 2002 on the late expage.com. Mississlippy has jokes, games,
videos, and much, much more.
When we were creating our first page on Expage we needed to
pick a user name. We tried several names with no luck. Eventually,
we randomly picked Mississlippy and it was not taken.
Mississlippy is a combination of the words Mississippi and slippy
(slippy is a slang word for slippery), and we have no idea if it
is a real word. Mississlippy was just a word we picked at
random. Mississlippy is in no way related to Mississippi. back to top
The Design
Back when we started Mississlippy in 2002, we knew nothing about
building a website. Also, having a site on the late Expage did not
require very much knowledge on building a website. However, they
provided a link to Funky-Chickens for some basic website code help
called HTML.
When we moved to Freewebs, we picked the advanced editor for
people who know how to make a website. Unfortunately, we knew
next to nothing. Taking a shortcut, we just copied the HTML from
our old Expage site.
Since then we have learned some basic HTML through Funky-Chickens
and DynamicDrive. Now normally sites would hire someone to design
and build their sites. However, we have neither the time or the money
to find and hire someone to do this. Therefore, Mississlippy will stay
looking like a website from 1998. So please don`t complain about
