| Welcome! |
This is the prologue of the third iteration of my web page, a celebration of the life virtual and all things both harmonious and chaotic. I'll try to keep the conversation light, the grammar and spelling errors minimal, and the sights consistently intriguing. The main topics here will be music, graphics, games, and programming, with occasional forays into the realms of computer hardware and history, web design, and the fine art of bargain hunting. The infinite nature of thought and imagination are the main displays in this museum and I hope the journey proves to be as interesting as the destination. Wednesday September 24, 2008 There were a few small changes made this week. I'm still working on the CSS enhanced version of this site between other chores and tasks. Content updates: I've added a player to the Music page that will let you select and play my mp3.com.au tracks. A note about the Musubi game programming library has been added to the Programming page. Minor updates: I've changed the background image and corrected an alignment problem that occured in Internet Explorer. "The free exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world" John Steinbeck "I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." Albert Einstein Friday July 18, 2008 The third times the charm as they say. The first version of this page was a rather lavish (or garish) site named "Autumn Fields" that served primarily as a showcase for my artistic endeavors. I was never really very pleased with the minimalist second version, though I kept the name "Mark's Place". The second site languished due to a lack of updates and interest. Life is a constant and fluid state of change, and I thought it was time to create a new space. Thus we're here at this new junction in the present ready to explore, and learn, and pass on whatever we find along the way. Good luck and Have Fun! Mark ![]() |
